Crossroads

I'm not sure if the place Guillame takes his son is actually named "The Crossroads" or if it's just a description of the place. Right now, we're better off leaving it as just "the crossroads". However, I made a redirect from crossroads (or Crossroads) to the crossroads. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 09:52, 12 June 2007 (EDT)

  • I agree. However, if we do change it in the future, an alternative name might be Skull Mountain. Disney42 10:20, 12 June 2007 (EDT)

Tuesday?

Why did this come out on Tuesday? I thought GN's usually come out on Monday.--Sad crescentmoon12 12:44, 12 June 2007 (EDT)

  • With a few exceptions, graphic novels come out late Monday night/early Tuesday morning, depending on where you live. Lately it's been between 6 and 7 am EST. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:45, 12 June 2007 (EDT)

The Symbol

Something about the crane and the serpent story resonates with the symbol. In the graphic novel, Guillame is sketching a figure on the ground as he tells the story. His sketch at times appears to be the snake and then later the crane. Parts of his sketch are very reminescent of the symbol. How can this information be incorporated into the article? --AverageMan 08:36, 13 June 2007 (EDT)

GN Disappointment

Anyone else disappointed with this GN? Especially with us being in a haitus-phase with no episodes coming out, I would have hoped the GNs would be stronger than normal. I didn't really get and substance, or new, worthwhile info out of this one. The first two built OK...but this one just seemed to be a rehash of Abraham and Isaac going to the mountain to be sacrificed. I miss Electro, SpeedGirl, and Sumoman....sure wish they would pick that cliffhanger up, and continue it...and maybe bring Sparrow back into view. Just my thoughts. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 06/13/2007 16:10 (EST)

  • See, I didn't like either of the Walls GNs at all. I found them to be placeholders, just waiting for the big finish, The Death of Hana Gitelman. I'm really enjoying It Takes a Village. No, there wasn't a lot of new information revealed in Part 3 (and consequently not a lot to update on the wiki), but it sure is shedding some much-needed light on the Haitian. I think Joe Kelly is an amazingly poetic writer, and his words are so rich. The serpent and the crane story? I can't get it out of my head. And the whole premise of a kid who is hated by his father because he blocks his superpower? Wow. Yeah, I'm not disappointed at all. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:46, 13 June 2007 (EDT)
