+ They have the same power, so it's not completely unlikely.
- - Then West and Nathan are related, and so are Iris and Meredith, Rachel and Manuel, Niki and Michael and Echo and Jesse.
- • Jesse Murphy is not the same as Echo's half-brother Jesse.
- + Meredith and Flint are related.
- + Matt and Maury are also related.
- + Hana and Drucker are also related.
- - Abilities are different for each individual, just because your parents or your cousin have a certain ability, doesn't mean you will get that ability, if you get an ability at all.
- - The liquid man seems to be able to shoot water as well as mimic it, whereas Elisa does not exhibit any evidence of being able to do anything more than mimic. Their abilities may not be the same.
- • Elisa had no need to shoot water. She did show the ability to control her movement while in watery form, so all she has to do is move forward or along any direction and she'd shoot herself.
- • Flint and Meredith are related and are both pyrokinetic, yet Flint is able to harness hotter blue flame. The liquid man may just have more control over his ability.
- - Flint actively developed his ability until he could produce blue flames. He practiced and trained. Meredith was never implied to have done that.
• Micah has relatives with different abilities to his own, phasing, adoptive muscle memory, etc...
- • Micah is the son of a synthetic evolved human, it's possible this alters the natural power heredity through his father's side.
