Theory Citations Notes
Matt will develop a relationship with Mohinder Suresh. They are both the legal guardians of Molly Walker

+ Matt's marriage just ended and he's looking for someone to love.
+ They live together.
+ Maury and Chandra can't say otherwise.

Matt's marriage has ended due to Matt realizing the child is not his. Matt said as much. (The Kindness of Strangers). While the question of the baby's paternity was the stated reason for their break-up, the nightmare sequence with the accusing Janice seemed to show that the baby may be Matt's and Matt may know it. (Fight or Flight)
Matt will become more powerful than Maury or the Dark Future Matt. None. + In the dark future, Matt can only read minds (and possibly access memories). Already he is able to insert thoughts into others minds, and he trapped Maury in his own nightmare. (Out of Time)

+ Matt has already started to develop his powers into more than just reading minds.

Matt will become a villain in Volume Three. None. + When Matt tries to force the name and location of Victoria Pratt out of Angela Petrelli, she remarks that if he succeeds, he is not just like his father: he is him. Seeing as he got the name in the end, it may be strongly implied that Matt will be tempted to become a villian like his father. (Cautionary Tales)
This suggests that some of Matt's actions may be called into question by some, but may not necessarily make him a villain.
Matt is a clone of Maury Parkman. They both have the same ability. + Very few other characters have the same- or even similar- abilities as their parents.

- Niki and Tracy seem to be clones but didn't share the same ability. - Matt still has his hair, while Maury is balding.

Matt is able to read the minds of animals. A turtle seemed to speak to Matt to tell him where he could find water - The voice Matt heard ended up being Usutu.
The sound of the voice was that of Usutu, but it could have been the turtle actually speaking. Why would Usutu tell him where to find water when he had a canteen of water already?
- This sounds improbable.
This show is about people doing improbable things. It is improbable that people can fly, bend time and space, etc.
Matt can access other heroes powers. The episode One of Us, One of Them + He uses Usutu's powers to paint the future on a rock

- Both Matt and Usutu gained the power by eating the drug. Usutu doesn't actually have the power.
Matt's vision may have been Usutu extending his ability. It seems unlikely that a drug can induce visions of the future if one's power isn't precognition already.

The woman in Usutu's paintings of Matt's life is Daphne. None. + Daphne and the woman both have the same hair colour.
+ Spoilers suggest that Matt has a run in with the speedster.
+ The second painting of Matt and the blonde woman shows wounds on the woman's back which match one of the pictures of Daphne here:[1]
The woman in Usutu's paintings of Matt's life is Audrey. They have a previous working relationship. + Audrey and the woman both have the same hair color.

+ Audrey thought Matt was "cute" when they worked together in s1.

Audrey was hesitant to come between Matt and Janice, but that is now not a problem.

+ Janice may have given up custody of their child to Matt, allowing Audrey to become a step-mother.
