Genesis
From Mohinder's first appearance in his classroom at Chennai University, to his journey to New York to find his father's killer, Mohinder's ring has been worn through it all.
The Butterfly Effect
After injecting himself with a genetic modification formula and regaining bug-like abilities, Mohinder begins to act uncharacteristically. Waking up in his bed beside Maya, Mohinder sits up, looks at his ring hand, and notices that his veins are pulsating abnormally.
A Clear and Present Danger
When captured by Nathan, the evolved humans are transported by a cargo plane. After Peter accidently freezes the side of the plane and is almost swept out, Mohinder grabs him with ring hand.
Notes
- Mohinder has worn it for every appearance he has made.
- Every graphic novel that Mohinder has been in, has failed to include this detail. However, the Mohinder action figure by Nezco Toys does include a painted ring on Mohinder's left thumb like in the show.
Trivia
At Comic con 2007, when asked what he brings to the show, Sendhil Ramamurthy says that the thumb ring he wears is actually his own.
