Alfred Washburn was Mindy Sprague's boss while she worked at the Three Mile Island.
Character History
Graphic Novel:From the Files of Primatech, Part 3
Mindy Sprague attempts to hand Alfred some reports indicating safety problems with the Three Mile Island plant. Alfred throws her findings aside however, and once again mistakes Mindy's name for something else. He later gains respect for her after she confronts him in front of his peers.
Later, after Mindy expresses her concern over a new reactor, Alfred claims that it was already installed. Frightened, Mindy tells Alfred to get everyone to safety. He calls out for her to stop as she runs towards the reactor.
Graphic Novel:From the Files of Primatech, Part 4
Alfred waits for Mindy Sprague to wake up in hospital. He tells Mindy that she saved everybody and that after the reactor was stopped a sudden storm sprang up. Mindy asks what happened to Ted and Alfred tells her to calm down as his wife went to check up on him. Alfred also claims that Mindy's friend, Angela Petrelli also called to ask about Ted.
