Images of her Disguises

Instead of including thumbnails in the body of the episodes section, which generally doesn't happen on other character pages, maybe Candice (nee Betty) should get a gallery of guises below Notes. --FissionChips 14:13, 19 October 2007 (EDT)

  • I think that's a good idea. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:16, 19 October 2007 (EDT)
    • Done. I only moved the one shot because while attempting to populate the gallery, I faced the question on how many should be included on the article. All disguises? Only season two disguises? What counts as a disguise? Arguably, Candice wasn't disguised as the blonde twins, but was making Sylar see them. --FissionChips 14:31, 19 October 2007 (EDT)
      • How about the Mr. Campbell, Claire, Simone, Sandra, Jessica, Ms. Baker, Michelle, and the geisha. That's eight, which will make a nice little gallery. The gallery's name should just be "Gallery" for standardization. Don't forget to add Category:Galleries. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:57, 19 October 2007 (EDT)
        • And done again. I like the selection. I left out Claire as the one example I could find had Candice/Claire in transition. So I put in the Sylar-on-Sylar action shot; it's funny even when it makes me shudder. --FissionChips 15:29, 19 October 2007 (EDT)
        • I added the category during a section edit and "Candice Willmer" does not appear in Category:Galleries. Odd. --FissionChips 15:44, 19 October 2007 (EDT)
          • It's showing up for me. Are you going to the second page? It's listed under "W". -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:51, 19 October 2007 (EDT)
            • Yep, it's there. I swear I looked. --FissionChips 15:53, 19 October 2007 (EDT)
              • If you looked right after the edit, it may have taken awhile to register, since the category sort is actually going through template:character box. Sometimes it just takes a few minutes. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:58, 19 October 2007 (EDT)
  • What about Candice as appearing as her true self? We saw that when Sylar killed her. Why not put that in the gallery?--Bella 22:21, 24 October 2007 (EDT)
    • That wouldn't really be an example of her using her power. However, the gallery doesn't have a topic. If you want to replace an image, that's fine. I'd try to keep the gallery limited to 8, though, just for aesthetics. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:46, 24 October 2007 (EDT)

Beaming Beeman?

Should we include the info from Beeman's blog entry about the original Season 2 plans for Candice, and how they shortened her role down to one episode to try to accommodate Missy's new show? --Cylon 15:09, 5 December 2007 (EST)

Namechange to Candace?

  • Did the show really showed that the spelling of her name is "Candice"? Because maybe it is pronounced "Candice" with an "i", but then spelled "Candace" with an 'a', coz this is whats written in the list... I'm not really sure about this...--NiveKJ13 (talk2me) 22:14, 12 December 2008 (EST)
    • This brings up another thing that bugs me. We're using "Candice", a first name listed all over the place (EXCEPT The List), and "Willmer", a last name used ONLY on The List. --Ricard Desi 00:09, 13 December 2008 (EST)
      • See here. "Candice" was used in screen text very prominently. "Candace" was shown only on the list, and not very prominently. Plus, since it's from the list, the difference in spelling may have been because Chandra misspelled it or it was misspelled when he got his information from the Human Genome Project. As for the last name, the only time we've seen it spelled "Wilmer" that I'm aware of is on, which isn't always very reliable (if you want examples, let me know). But the list shown onscreen hierarchically outranks There's no good answer here because we're dealing with conflicting sources--that's one thing if it's about somebody's age or something like that. But when it comes to a person's name and the title of the article, that's a bit different. Ultimately, it boils down to this for me: the onscreen text outranks the text on the list (for the first name), but the text on the list outranks anything on (for the last name). -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:20, 13 December 2008 (EST)

A heck of a lot of people seem to misspell her name like that...--ERROR 11:20, 13 June 2009 (EDT)

I'm not too sure on how to edit these pages and add sections but if someone wanted to add this. The Two Names Betty uses in the TV series could be a possible nod to Candice Michelle, A Professional wrestler ViciousKillgasm 21 December 2008

“True form”

When this page refers to Candice’s “true form”, is it referring to “Candice” or to Betty? I thought we only saw her true form when she died. —Frungi 19:51, 19 October 2009 (EDT)

  • To Betty, that's who we saw when she died. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 20:06, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
    • Right, but I mean before that, like in Parasite.
      • Oh, in that case, she changed back to "Candice". She become so used to that form that it sort of became her default form, so when she was knocked out, that's what she reverted to. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 20:12, 19 October 2009 (EDT)
