Started this page because of the link, in the Glossary, posted by Hardvice. But I've to say that "Exploding man" could have a disambig page for exemple but the full name How Do You Stop an Exploding Man? doesn't, in my opinion. --FrenchFlo 15:00, 29 January 2007 (EST)
- The disambig is for the different issues. See Wireless (disambig).--Hardvice (talk) 15:18, 29 January 2007 (EST)
- I would remove the references to Ted and then instead reference the article Exploding Man that takes up all variants on the topic. -- Cuardin 15:19, 29 January 2007 (EST)
- Ok I see, thanks for the edit. And let's wait for the part II to fill in the blanks ! --FrenchFlo 15:24, 29 January 2007 (EST)
- Ohmyn0 did a great job on the Wireless (disambig). I'm sure he'll fix this one up, too, real purdy-like. - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:53, 29 January 2007 (EST)
Sylar exploding
Future Hiro says he stabbed Sylar to stop him from exploding, but Sylar regenerated and still exploded. The graphic novel String Theory supports this. Is that right? --Ice Vision (talk) 17:43, 13 January 2008 (EST)
- Yes, but F_Hiro was laboring under the misconception that it was Sylar who exploded when it was really Peter. Even F_Niki didn't know it was her own boyfriend (or whatever) who was the one who exploded. In any case, Sylar is fine to keep on this page, but it's probably just better to have a qualifier like "reportedly exploded" than to state emphatically that Sylar actually exploded in any timeline. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:10, 13 January 2008 (EST)
- I would think that Future Hiro knows whom he stabbed; he was right next to him. It appears that Future Hiro changed history, because Claire was saved unlike in the "first timeline". However, Peter exploded instead of Sylar. Time travel is always confused, and I'm definitely confused... --Ice Vision (talk) 18:14, 13 January 2008 (EST)
- Even in the actual timeline, Hiro stabbed Sylar, and I imagine Hiro may have still thought it was Sylar who exploded. It's hard to say, and I can see both arguments. I get very confused, too, and I don't really try to wrap my head around the fifteen alternate timelines that are floating around. Either way, it's best to describe things in very general, noncommittal language. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:23, 13 January 2008 (EST)
- Fair enough. The different future thing is way over my head. --Ice Vision (talk) 22:16, 13 January 2008 (EST)
