List of paintings

It'd be great to get a list of Isaac's paintings that are kept in the archives. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:32, 7 March 2007 (EST)

  • While we're at it, we need a cap of the pic of Peter hovering (it's extracted from the group shot ... at least they're finally using it.) It's pretty small on-screen, though ... anybody have this ep in HD?--Hardvice (talk) 00:17, 8 March 2007 (EST)
    • I don't, but I wonder if it would be worth it to photoshop the original. I think I'd rather see an HD version, though. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 02:20, 8 March 2007 (EST)
  • Should we add the Hiro and the Dinosaur painting to the list here? It was delivered by Hiro (albeit repaired with scotch tape...)--Frosty snow 00:12, 27 March 2007 (EDT)
    • Good catch. Yes, we should add it, Scotch tape and all. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:20, 27 March 2007 (EDT)

Ando's Uniform

  • From the episode commentary: Chris Zatta claims Ando knocked out a guard and took his uniform. Yeah, that was totally clear in the aired episode, guys.--Hardvice (talk) 00:17, 8 March 2007 (EST)
    • Thanks for that clarification. I'm trying to leave references to his uniform as just "wearing" it, not "disguised", since it's not very clear. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 02:20, 8 March 2007 (EST)

Education and research

Should this be under the Education and Research category? Heroe 18:27, 17 March 2007 (EDT)

  • It's an archive of painting and other artifacts. It's certainly not education. Maybe research, but that's a stretch -- and speculation. I guess we'd have to find out exactly what they did with everything in there to know if it were a research-oriented location or not. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:39, 17 March 2007 (EDT)

Other Art

Good eye on the Matthias Grünewald piece! — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:36, 25 March 2007 (EDT)

  • Clearly, this means Jesus was a superhero. (Less sarcastically, this painting might be good to note on the God page.)--Hardvice (talk) 23:48, 25 March 2007 (EDT)

There were a couple other historic paintings in the archive that are probably worht looking at...something with pilgrims or puritans.--ASEO 16:25, 24 April 2007 (EDT)

  • The Anatomy Lecture of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp by Rembrandt. That's twice I've used my art history degree in the last ten years!--Hardvice (talk) 17:09, 24 April 2007 (EDT)

Anybody able to tell what paintings these are? They're from the opening scene of .07%. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:36, 11 May 2007 (EDT)

  • I uploaded some high def images which I think helps a lot. One painting is really the Kensei tapestry--I removed it and added another painting. I still don't know what real life paintings these are. Anybody up for some research? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:42, 8 July 2007 (EDT)

Isaac has archives?

  • I don't understand this edit: "Some of Isaac's paintings have been shown in the online archive which have not yet appeared in the archives during an episode. Also, at least part of his archives is shown to maintained by the Linderman Group." Now, I can see that we need to insert "be" before "maintained", but I still don't understand the new sentence. Isaac has archives? Or does it mean Linderman's archives? If so, it seems obvious that they're maintained by the Linderman Group. I'm lost.--Hardvice (talk) 03:55, 29 September 2007 (EDT)
    • Oops, sorry for the confusion. Linderman has a private collection that he showed Nathan. He also has an extensive archives collection (where Hiro got the sword and the photo from Ch 5 Sword Saint comes from). I meant that Isaac's paintings were depicted in Linderman's private collection whereas the sword was in the Linderman Group archives.--MiamiVolts (talk) 04:01, 29 September 2007 (EDT)
      • I think what was throwing me off is that that section is the header for the gallery, not a Heroes 360 "About" section. I've moved that information to a separate "Heroes 360" section, since it's not pertinent to the gallery of images itself.--Hardvice (talk) 04:22, 29 September 2007 (EDT)
