Talk:Matt Parkman's teams (disambig)

I'm having a hard time understanding the purpose of this article.
- Who says that Bennet/Sprague/Parkman are "Matt Parkman's team"? If you ask me, they're much more under the direction of Bennet.
- I'm not sure all these different "teams" should be grouped on one page. Tom McHenry and Hana on the same page all under the heading of "Matt's teams"? It seems really misleading.
- I don't understand why the name of the "character" is "Matt Parkman's team (The Hard Part)".
- The image is not standard size.
Personally, I don't see much value to this article--I think it should be deleted. But if people disagree (which inevitably they will), then maybe it should be formatted to be a disambig page. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:24, 10 May 2007 (EDT)
- I added this information originally to the future article as before we were combining all of Matt's teams into one article. When it was limited to just his future teams, I moved the past team references here. That said, you just deleted the Walls references from Matt Parkman's team (future), and now you want to delete this whole page (a little delete happy, eh? ;)) I think, rather, that the Walls response team should be a seperate page instead of just deleted... Also, I have no problems with splitting up this article into several smaller ones and changing this into a disambig.--MiamiVolts (talk) 18:38, 10 May 2007 (EDT)
- I just put The Hard Part in the character box cause that's Matt's latest team. It's Matt's team only in that he's part of it. They are really equal partners at this point.--MiamiVolts (talk) 18:43, 10 May 2007 (EDT)
- Delete happy or just looking for cleanliness--hard to say. :) The info about the Walls team being on Matt's team just didn't have a place. The two teams exist 4 years apart from one another--and I didn't see any of those DHS guys in Five Years Gone that could use powers. I'm just not understanding why Matt gets the distinction of having a "team" and no other character. As far as I know, Matt has exactly two teams: the Walls guys and the DHS guys from 5YG. The other teams listed on this page seem to be teams of which Matt is a part, not necessarily his team. If the purpose of this page was originally to distinguish from future teams and present teams, I'm not sure that purpose is necessary anymore. Matt's team is actually named Matt Parkman's team (future) so that it's easily distinguished that nothing on this page would go there. I'm also not sure the Walls team needs their own page, since each character has his own page now. I don't know exactly how you want to split this page up -- did you want an article about Tom and Matt's partnership and another article about Audrey and Matt's relationship? ... I do think this would be a good disambig, however, to distinguish between the Walls team (linking to the three agents) and the DHS team (with a link to Matt's team). — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:51, 10 May 2007 (EDT)
- Even if "Matt Parkman's team" was a good description of any of these teams (which it really isn't, apart from maybe the Homeland Security team), this one is definitely not a character page. I suppose it could be a disambiguation page, but the older teams just don't feel like actual "teams". It either needs to be severely reworked or deleted.--Hardvice (talk) 19:02, 10 May 2007 (EDT)
- Now, if we wanted to do a category for groups and organizations (which probably isn't a bad idea vis a vis the Company, Linderman's group, D.L.'s crew, Homeland Security, the team from Walls, F. Peter and F. Hiro's resistance groups, F. Bennet's underground railroad, and a few others), I could see these individual teams being reworked into decent group articles, but I doubt most of the teams or groups in which Matt has been involved would end up being called "Matt's team". Hana put together the group that went after Bennet, and Bennet is leading the group against the Walker system.--Hardvice (talk) 19:10, 10 May 2007 (EDT)
- I agree that this page should be reworked into a disambig with the Walls team (2007) and Matt's 2011 SWAT team. I just think that having to go to the prison to find the list of Walls team members doesn't make sense when we don't know that the team was assigned only to the prison. About the other teams (Matt and Tom, and Matt and Audrey), I'll move them to a user page for now cause we could have some way of listing groups of characters when they work together. There could be named character groups like the Deveaux society and Primatech, and unnamed groups like Matt and Tom's partnership, and Matt and Audrey. Does that make sense? Actually, Hardvice just took the words out from under my keys...lol--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:26, 10 May 2007 (EDT)
Agents
Just lol at "An agent who is really big." This wiki is full of jokes. I like it :) -- FrenchFlo (talk) 03:46, 11 May 2007 (EDT)
