Casey Z. Smith
-
Are these guys...
-
...the same?
There are two Casey Z. Smiths. There is the one who works at the Pentagon and has top secret security clearance, and there's the one with whom Hana sleeps. Hana uses the MySpace boozer's name (which also happens to be ambisexual) to get into the Pentagon. As far as I understand, the red-headed lug does not work at the Pentagon, correct? — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:06, 15 March 2007 (EDT)
- I think it's the same guy, minus the mustache. She'd need his credentials, not just his driver's license, to get into the Pentagon, and his car would have to be stickered as well.--Hardvice (talk) 23:56, 15 March 2007 (EDT)
- Okay, I see your point. But I don't think they look at all alike. Besides the different hair color, it doesn't look like the artist even made them look the same. Plus, why would he go out of his way to make the Pentagon picture look very stern and serious, and the personals ad look, well, goofy? Other than the name, I don't get that they're the same person at all. ... And I kind of took the Pentagon security guards scratching their heads to mean that they were trying to figure out why there was a Casey Z. Smith on their top secret security clearance lists, but that he/she only had a license. I don't know, maybe the whole thing was confusing. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:10, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
- Seeing as she'd have to doctor his license to begin with (to get her picture on it and change the gender--Virginia licenses have both photos and gender on them), why bother seducing a Casey Z. Smith at all? I just can't see where she stands to gain anything usable by seducing the guy unless he has Pentagon clearance.--Hardvice (talk) 00:29, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
- That, and she swipes the card she took from him to get into the Pentagon. I suppose it could be his license, but it's more likely a military ID card (which didn't have magswipes on them when last I had one, but that was a while ago) or a security keycard. It would be shockingly out-of-character for the military to use somebody else's ID card for security.--Hardvice (talk) 00:50, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
- Having been to the Pentagon a few times, you have to go through a few levels of security, and they don't use military IDs, they use security clearance IDs unique to the Pentagon, which uses the magstrip versus the CAC cards for DoD personnel. Honestly though, I don't know how she would have been able to get into the Pentagon with a male's ID, but then again, this is fiction, so whatever.--Bob 02:09, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
- That's what I don't get. No matter what she steals from the guy, she's going to have to forge something to get in ... at the very least updating the picture and the gender. Unless she needs a Pentagon key card to alter, there's no point seducing anybody in particular to get an ID she's going to have to alter anyway. She could seduce or mug anybody and alter his ID just as easily as she can seduce somebody with the same name and alter his ID. It's got to be the same Casey Smith, and she has to have seduced him for the keycard.--Hardvice (talk) 02:51, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
- Ah, it just dawned on me. His keycard that she stole was access to the files she needed to look at. She didn't steal the access ID to get into the Pentagon, just to the file room. It makes sense now.--Bob 04:03, 16 March 2007 (EDT)

Uniform appearance?
Los Angeles just has a list of residences and locations and not an episodic history. Shouldn't we either remove the history from Washington or add one to LA? --Crazyaspie 15:54, 23 April 2009 (EDT)
