Hey, uhh....I know I am new here, and I shouldn't really be criticising already, but isn't this title slightly silly? Especially with all of the capital letters? I personally think the title should be something like Split Future or Halved Earth or something. Only because the current title seems a little over-the-top somehow. Just a newbie's two cents. - Tristan0709 04:30, 18 November 2008 (EST)

  • I like the destructive ring to it considering we're supposed to believe this is the end of the Earth (whereas something like "Explosion future" implies a continuation). However, I agree the title is not that great. "Destroyed world" is a bit too gothic but I'm currently stumped. --Matchu 04:35, 18 November 2008 (EST)
    • Yeah, it needs to be more of a past tense (even though it is a future), rather than present tense, if that makes sense. (?). - Tristan0709 04:41, 18 November 2008 (EST)
      • No, I don't know what you mean by it needing to be past tense. There's no canon name for this painting (or paintings) yet, so it can certainly be renamed. I just described what I saw: the world splitting in half. Since it's the title we're ascribing to a painting, it is put in the title case (like Hiro and the Dinosaur or Exploding Man). If you think there's a better title, feel free to add the {{rename}} template to the page. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 08:16, 18 November 2008 (EST)
        • I THINK what I mean by past tense is that 'World Splitting' sounds as if it is happening now, yet the painting depicts a world already split. I'm confusing myself on my past thought, forget i veer said anything. - Tristan0709 01:49, 21 November 2008 (EST)

Usutu style... but how in the world?

Future Gabriel's painting was different from Usutu's. But we saw the Worlds Splitting in Half high on the walls in New York. I doubt it was Usutu who painted them - Isaac was the only known precog there. But how in the world could he paint them that high and big? -- Altes 07:25, 22 June 2009 (EDT)
