Gino Masterson is one of two twins that had become an artificial evolved human and possessing synthetic abilities, Gino having telepathy.
Character History
Twin brothers Bryan and Gino Masterson had lived a normal life while living in a Roman Catholic orphanage and having no contact to whom their actual parents were and only having minimal contact with the only known blood relatives; their cousin BD Barlow and uncle and aunt. At a young age the brothers began to exhibit strange things happening whenever they were around. In Gino's case he began to hear other people's thoughts while Bryan had possessed the power to make things would move around him like someone was controlling them.
Over the years, the brothers abilities grew stronger and so did one's ego; Gino's telepathic power had almost corrupted his mind and, him wanting more, he set out on his own without his brother.
Using his ability, he had gone around the United States where he mind controlled (which he used to due vast criminal acts including robbery and homicide), mentally tortured, and even killed people, which happened through severe mental strain caused by the mental torture causing their brain to literally bleed to death. An agent from a secretive group and his silent associate had found Gino in a bar in Las Vegas, NV, where he had been operating as a backroom dealer where he dealt with all sorts of criminal activity.
Sensing the tag team was coming, Gino had a shootout with Bennet and escaped while The Haitian went elsewhere. Gino was able to get to his car only to be rendered unconscious and quickly was abducted and taken away.
When he awoke, he found out that he was now a prisoner of this group. During this time, he learnt that his psionic ability was synthetically made and given to him when he was just a baby. Gino began to plot his escaped from his jail cell on Level 5, while during the same time his brother had began to track him.

Limits
Gino, synthetically, possesses telepathy, which allows him to read minds. Just like Matt Parkman and his father, Gino is quite adapt in using his telepathic power, allowing him to fully control the minds of another thus allowing them to do his own implanted suggestive thoughts, and has also allowed him to mentally torture someone, which, if the mind is severely tortured enough, then kill them.
He, like Matt and other evolved humans, was vulnerable from the Haitian's mental manipulation and was rendered powerless and knocked out from the Haitian's power.
