Identity Absorption is the ability to absorb all aspects of a person into the absorber's mind, leaving nothing behind but the brain-dead body that person once lived in. This includes memories, abilities, and behavioral patterns. As the user gets more advanced with this ability they can pick and choose which aspects of someone they want to absorb. If an absorber absorbs an entire identity, they will live within the brain of that person, competing with that person for control over the body. This power can also achieve some of the effects of Mental manipulation by erasing memories

Limits
Absorbing someones identity is a very tricky thing to do. If the user absorbs the entirety of that person's identity, that person will actually live on within that person's brain, creating a sort of split personality. It takes a long time of practice to absorb just certain aspects of a person (Though it is funny that when younger, Peter had better control over his ability then when he was older) and even then it is hard. Once you begin the absorption process it is very hard to stop. That is why a the user must be completely aware of what they want before the begin absorbing, or they may absorb too much or too little.
When absorbing something, the user will either place a hand on the victim or if the user is skilled at that ability they will focus on that person. They then almost spiritually enter the victim's brain.. They will then have to search for what they want to absorb. If the user is searching for an ability, they will obtain it at the exact skill level the person is at. The victim will be stripped of those memories or abilities permanently.
Though Peter Garret has only ever used this ability to absorb things, an unknown deceased female had this ability and was able to give people memories and abilities she had absorbed. It is unknown if this was an aspect of Identity Absorption or an aspect of an unknown ability.
Notes
- This ability creates a hunger, though not as strong as the hunger caused by Intuitive aptitude.
