Does anyone think this should be made mainspace? It certainly has enough references.--BOYCOOL -- THE END IS NIGH. 17:50, 2 April 2010 (EDT)
- Hmmm, we already have one for faith and religion, would we have separate pages for Islam and Judaism? As it seems much simpler (though I do like this page) to have a single one. -- By Danko CH 19:36, 2 April 2010 (EDT)
- We have a separate page for Judaism (and Vodou and Kali)...and I don't think Islam was ever referenced.--BOYCOOL -- THE END IS NIGH. 19:54, 2 April 2010 (EDT)
- Sidenote: Who nominated this for mainspace?--BOYCOOL -- THE END IS NIGH. 22:00, 2 April 2010 (EDT)
- Leckie. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:08, 2 April 2010 (EDT)
- Yeah. I think it should be in the mainspace. --mc_hammark 07:28, 3 April 2010 (EDT)
- I don't really have a strong opinion one way or the other on the move...however, it should not be moved into the main namespace until some changes are made. Not every reference to God is a reference to Christianity. We need to make sure the page is about Christianity, and not about just God. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 08:38, 3 April 2010 (EDT)
- Like "playing God." I took it off, and someone put it back on.--BOYCOOL -- THE END IS NIGH. 08:41, 3 April 2010 (EDT)
- Like every reference from Seven Minutes to Midnight. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 09:10, 3 April 2010 (EDT)
- So it should only be about the faith side of it? Since there are so many references to God, should there be an article for that? --mc_hammark 09:13, 3 April 2010 (EDT)
- No, it should only be about Christianity, not about faith in general. "God" does not always equate to Christianity, regardless of the person mentioning it (but especially when Mohinder references God, since he's not Christian). There is already an article dedicated to generic reference about God--see God. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 09:23, 3 April 2010 (EDT)
- (For political correctness) most characters just say "God" instead of "Allah", "Shiva", etc. But, I do think that we should leave in the references from Mohinder where he relates it to the Bible (i.e. making us in his own image).--BOYCOOL -- THE END IS NIGH. 09:25, 3 April 2010 (EDT)
- Absolutely. That's an example of Mohinder using the Bible in a lesson. The Bible is a book that is fully accepted as canon by most Christian sects. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 09:43, 3 April 2010 (EDT)
- Ha, try telling that to this guy.--BOYCOOL -- THE END IS NIGH. 21:36, 3 April 2010 (EDT)
- I don't think the "names of Biblical reference" section needs to be here and faith and religion. Should we remove it from faith and religion? (If we make this mainspace, of course)--BOYCOOL -- THE END IS NIGH. 09:35, 5 April 2010 (EDT)
- Hello? Boycool Two little mice fell in a bucket of cream. The first mouse quickly gave up and drowned. The second mouse wouldn't quit. He struggled so hard that eventually he churned that cream into butter and crawled out. Amen. 16:45, 15 April 2010 (EDT)
- Unless some of those names are from the Old Testament, which unless I'm mistaken, is only associated with the Jewish faith.--PJDEP - Talk - Polls and Opinions 17:38, 8 May 2010 (EDT)
- You're mistaken on the "only" part. So, you're saying remove New Testament names from faith and religion?--Boycool Two little mice fell in a bucket of cream. The first mouse quickly gave up and drowned. The second mouse wouldn't quit. He struggled so hard that eventually he churned that cream into butter and crawled out. Amen. 17:41, 8 May 2010 (EDT)
- Hmm? No, I was only suggesting a possible obstacle. You'll want to delegate the final decision to someone more, ah, religious.--PJDEP - Talk - Polls and Opinions 17:44, 8 May 2010 (EDT)

- No, I did not. I said that you'll want to delegate the final decision to someone more religious, meaning that I wasn't religious. Given that you asked the question I thought it was implied that you wouldn't be the one to answer it as well. Sorry for the misunderstanding.--PJDEP - Talk - Polls and Opinions 17:53, 8 May 2010 (EDT)

- Don't worry about it, but beyond the issue you listed above there are still some problem with this article. For example, when Jessica says "Who needs God when you've got me?" it isn't a clear reference to Christianity, those of the Jewish faith also refer to their deity as God and I think those of the Islamic faith occasionally do as well (in addition to Allah). It's too ambigious of a reference to put here. IMO, the only things that should be here are clear-cut reference to stricly Christian biblical figures.--PJDEP - Talk - Polls and Opinions 18:01, 8 May 2010 (EDT)
