This page looks good; the automation will make things a lot easier. A few thoughts:

  • Right now, the ability name origination article lists the sources a bit differently (e.g. "Near-canon description" instead of "Near-canon"). I don't care either way, though I kind of prefer just "near-canon" since the column is called "Type of source".-- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:12, 4 January 2008 (EST)
    • The "near canon description" was used to distinguish an explicit near canon naming of the power (i.e. a graphic novel that explicitly names the power) versus something that was put together based on descriptions in the near-canon source (i.e. "...can mimic the density of water" becoming "water mimicry"). I don't know if the distinction is absolutely necessary, but Hardvice and I discussed it briefly here. (Admin 20:25, 4 January 2008 (EST))
      • Hardvice, Ryan and I were discussing it too on Heroes Wiki talk:Ability name origination. We agreed that the "explicit" distinct was probably best put in the 'explanation' column, so I've done this. If you check closely, those entries now mention if the name was used 'explicitly'.--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:58, 4 January 2008 (EST)
  • Since the third column has some references and some explanations, I think it'd be best to name the column "References and explanations".-- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:12, 4 January 2008 (EST)
    • I alpha-sorted it, but the column name is now changed.--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:58, 4 January 2008 (EST)
  • Would there be too much whitespace on everybody's browsers if we "br clear=all"ed the table? I get some whitespace on mine, but I think I prefer the space to be above the table and not to the right of the table.-- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:12, 4 January 2008 (EST)
    • I expanded the intro so it mentions the hierarchy table that we are floating to the right, and I put that section in a table which should have the same effect as using a "br clear-all".--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:58, 4 January 2008 (EST)

Everything else looks good to me! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:12, 4 January 2008 (EST)

  • Fixes applied; check now.--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:58, 4 January 2008 (EST)
    • Looks good. Let's add some noincludes, and then I think we can cut and paste the text into Heroes Wiki:ability name origination. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:05, 5 January 2008 (EST)
      • Noinclude's have been added. I think we can cut and paste now.--MiamiVolts (talk) 00:20, 5 January 2008 (EST)
        • The DPL content revisions have been moved into the main article now, so I've set the user article to be deleted.--MiamiVolts (talk) 14:06, 7 January 2008 (EST)
