Welcome to Heroes Wiki!
Here are a few links to get you started:
- If you are new to Heroes or Heroes Reborn, you might want to start at the New User Portal.
- If you're not too familiar with editing wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
- If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style.
- If you're ready to get started, Template:Todo lists some ways you can help out.
- Of course, if you have your own idea for adding a new article, that's great, too.
- Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
- To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
- You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
- When posting on an article's Talk page you should add --~~~~ or click the signature button.
- This will add a signature and timestamp to the end of your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
- Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
- When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
- If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for an administrator.
- You can also customize your user page if you like.
- Additionally, if you would like to add any fan-made content to the wiki, please do so by adding the prefix User:Pie-ro/ to the page title when you create the page.
Once again, welcome to Heroes Wiki!
website for The Marked?
- Is there an external website for The Marked which may make this article a little more relavent to the overall fanbase? --Fcphantom 17:20, 26 January 2007 (EST)
Removing info
- Why did you remove what I just posted. It was relevant to the topic. --Pie-ro 20:54, 26 January 2007
- Hi, Pie-ro. Check out the change summary I posted along with the undo along with the comment I added to the article's talk page. We're trying to keep all the articles as much like references as possible. The part I took out was basically "promoting" the article and made it look more like an advertisement than a reference article. (Admin 20:59, 26 January 2007 (EST))
- Oh. Sorry. Im new to the whole wiki thing. Myself and a couple other guys that started "The MArked" just made that today obviously, I was kinda learning as I went. Its just that, the person who came up with this idea, has that in the opening statement in the main thread for "The marked" at 9th wonders. I thought it would be good to have something describing what we do in there. --Pie-ro 21:07, 26 January 2007
- Hey, no problem. :) Dont worry once you spend a little time here and see what kind of contributions people make and how the articles end up being layed out it'll all be much easier. Edits are never anything personal, we've all had things changed or removed from time to time, including me. heh. Also on Talk pages like these (but not on actual article pages) when you add a comment you should put --~~~~ at the end so it signs it with your name and time. Makes it easier for people to follow the discussion and see who's posting. Also if you check out the formatting of this comment you'll see the asterisks add bullets to make threading easier to follow. ... and once again, welcome! :) (Admin 21:12, 26 January 2007 (EST))
