Welcome to Heroes Wiki!

Here are a few links to get you started:

  • If you are new to Heroes, you might want to start at the New User Portal.
  • If you're not too familiar with editing wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
  • If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style.
  • If you're ready to get started, Template:Todo lists some ways you can help out.
  • Of course, if you have your own idea for a new article, that's great, too.
  • Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
    • To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
    • You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
  • When posting on an article's Talk page you should add --~~~~ or click the signature button.
    • This will add a signature and timestamp to the end of your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
    • Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
    • When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
  • If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for an administrator.
  • You can also customize your user page if you like.
    • Additionally, if you would like to add any fanmade content to the wiki, please do so by adding the prefix User:Watchtower/ to the page title when you create the page.

Once again, welcome to Heroes Wiki!

Image sources

Hey, Watchtower. Please add a source to the following Fileshadow.jpg Fileloyal.jpg , Fileshadow.jpg, Filewitness.jpg, Filesoulkamist.jpg. All you have to do is go to the image page, click "Edit" at the top, and add a link to the website where you got the image from. If you created the image yourself, you may simply add "Made by User:Watchtower". After sourcing the image, you may remove the {{afd}} tag. If you do not source the image, it will be deleted. Thanks. --Radicell 00:37, 18 April 2010 (EDT)

  • Nice one :) Now they wont get deleted :) --Leckie -- Talk 12:34, 19 April 2010 (EDT)
    • Watchtower, I marked some more of your images for deletion because they are not properly sourced. Simply putting a fair use statement on an image is not a source. The source of the image should still be noted. Also, please only use the screenshot fair use statement for those images which are actually screenshots. Promotional images from movies and television shows are not necessarily screenshots. If you have any questions about this, please let me know. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:15, 25 April 2010 (EDT)
      • There are still some problems with your sources. Is Filefaora a screenshot? Then you'll want to use the image-screenshot template, and note underneath it that it's from Smallville. The source is not Smallville Wikia. Did you take the picture of Filedream yourself? If so, you can just put that as the source. If not, you'll need to put the source of the image. Your MySpace page is not a source. Google images is also not a source, so you'll need to find the actual source for Filezankou. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:00, 25 April 2010 (EDT)
