Noah and Meredith go to the Pines' home to bag and tag Danny Pine. Noah tells Meredith to go around the back while he takes the front. Once inside, Meredith walks through the corridor until she sees Noah holding Danny's son, William, hostage in the kitchen. He tells Pine to turn himself in, but he refuses, and Meredith has no choice but to light up a bottle of liquor and throw it at Pine. When she does so, Pine shatters the bottle with his arm, smashing a water pipe in the process. Everyone in the room is drenched, and Noah takes the opportunity to subdue Pine. Later, Meredith walks into a room to see Danny's wife dead on the floor. Pine tells them that she deserved it, and is then taken away from his home.
