Point taken, Hardvice. So I think we should we remove this article, then, from the list of named groups... especially since it's still a spoiler that the group ever existed. LOL. Any objection?--MiamiVolts (talk) 16:43, 18 May 2007 (EDT) |

* I think it's OK to leave it. It's not really a "spoiler" in the sense that "Peter will kill Claire and dance in her entrails" is a spoiler; it's just based entirely on unaired info, but nothing's really spoiled. Either way, really.--Hardvice (talk) 17:03, 18 May 2007 (EDT) |

Society's Purpose
I'm wondering if The Deveaux Society is like an Order of the Phoenix from the Harry Potter series since it appears that Claude has known about other Heroes before. Bkdelong 13:22, 12 February 2007 (EST)
- Personally, I think the Deveaux Society, if anything comes of it, will be like (or connected to) the Linderman Group. I think Charles and Linderman were closely connected, either in purpose or by relationship. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 13:27, 12 February 2007 (EST)
- I read that quite literally, and have now discovered my Heroes 'ship: Charles/Linderman. Chinderman, for short.--Hardvice (talk) 13:40, 12 February 2007 (EST)
- Any relation to Charles Lindbergh? Ooh, a missing baby episode is just what we need! — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:13, 12 February 2007 (EST)
- True - it can't be entirely coincidental that Simone already seems to have a relationship with Linderman as well. speaking of which, who "publishes" Issac's comic book? Bkdelong 14:03, 12 February 2007 (EST)
- Isaac publishes 9th Wonders! himself. (See the back page of the comic.) — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:13, 12 February 2007 (EST)
- Uncle Burk's Fine Comics ... probably named after his good ol' Uncle Burk Linderman.--Hardvice (talk) 14:13, 12 February 2007 (EST)
- Actually, we're both correct: he publishes the comics himself under his old Uncle Burk's name, according the back page. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:18, 12 February 2007 (EST)
- I could have sworn Simone was bitching at him that the comic book was late to the publishers in one episode.

No more Deveaux's left in the Society?
- So, what do we want to do with this page, now that the last surviving Deveaux (Simone) was just killed off before anything about the Deveaux Society was introduced? Unless something happens in the next two episodes, this thing's not very canon. --Orne 09:39, 23 February 2007 (EST)
- Well, it kind of fits in the same category as the Engineer, right? It's a scrapped part of production. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 09:47, 23 February 2007 (EST)
"Deveaux"
So am I correct in thinking that this is pronounced "Dev oh?" That's only a long "e" from "Devo," which is short for "Devolution." It may be an Easter Egg ;) --ChickenArise 16:18, 7 May 2007 (EDT)
- That's correct. "Deveaux" is pronounced as "Dev oh". Peter gave us the pronunciation of his name when he told Nathan "Charles Deveaux died this morning." in Nothing to Hide.--Ice Vision 16:44, 7 May 2007 (EDT)
Lead Image
- We have no idea whether Charles and/or Simone are involved in this so-far entirely hypothetical society. (In other words, Simone but not Charles could be a member, or Charles but not Simone could be a member, or both. Neither is confirmed.) This image is misleading.--Hardvice (talk) 16:19, 18 May 2007 (EDT)
- So far it's a named group only by the writers and cast in interviews, and they've confirmed that Simone and Charles were re-surnamed so they could have the Deveaux society. That's the best information we have. Also, it's a dead group, but it's likely that it will be revived next season when we get a better look at the "generations" of the past.--MiamiVolts (talk) 16:31, 18 May 2007 (EDT)
- Well, yes. It's confirmed that at least either Charles or Simone was a member leading to the rename, but not necessarily both (and thus neither one is individually confirmed to be a member).--Hardvice (talk) 16:34, 18 May 2007 (EDT)
- And actually, considering the fact that the Society has still never been mentioned in the show, we don't really know that either Simone or Charles is necessarily a member or leader. For all we know, it's named for Simone's mother, or heretofore unmentioned brother, or third cousin, or whatever. All we know is that the desire to name the group "the Deveaux Society" prompted them to change Charles and Simone's surname from Deveraux to Deveaux. That doesn't necessarily mean that either is the Deveaux family member responsible for the Society. It's all very much unconfirmed--heck, even the group's existence is unconfirmed, hence the spoiler tag.--Hardvice (talk) 16:42, 18 May 2007 (EDT)
