Peter Garret was once a Veterinary Student in LA, that is until his power manifested. While walking down a back alley he was attacked by fellow [[Evolved Human]] Jack Hawthorne. Jack wanted money which Peter clearly had. Peter, who at the time was considerably out of shape, started panicking. It was then that Peter's power manifested. Before he realized it, he was absorbing all of Jack's identity, his power, his memories, and his consciousness. Peter's mind was immediately flooded by this new entity within his brain. |

After about an hour of constant passing in and out of consciousness, Peter finally regained control of his senses. He looked down and found the body of Jack below him. He inspected it, thinking the person was dead. After close examination he realized that Jack was alive, yet strangely unmoving, almost brain-dead. Thinking that he may have seriously injured the man, he ran home, afraid that the cops may come after him. On his way home, he began hearing voices, little snippets. Peter thought that it was just the fight in the street putting an edge on his senses. But after a night's sleep and the voices continuing, he began to panic. |
