If people had to ask permission to change what other people wrote, the entire wiki system wouldn't work. As far as theories go, most of my recent edits on what other people write (such as questions) are to implement a set of guidelines proposed by Ryan, which you can find at [[Heroes Wiki talk:Patrollers#Theory pages]]. Other than that, my only posts to theories are arguments to support or refute what other people have written, I hardly ever add a theory myself, I did add one to Compass theories recently, but other than that, I don't remember the last time I added a new theory anywhere. What I do is tweak and reply. I'm a [[Heroes Wiki:Patrollers|patroller]], I'm supposed to do quality check on other's posts, I just happen to be one who patrols more the theory pages, mostly because other patrollers don't like really like them much. Welcome to Heroes Wiki!
Here are a few links to get you started:
- If you are new to Heroes, you might want to start at the New User Portal.
- If you're not too familiar with editing wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
- If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style.
- If you're ready to get started, Template:Todo lists some ways you can help out.
- Of course, if you have your own idea for a new article, that's great, too.
- Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
- To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
- You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
- When posting on an article's Talk page you should add --~~~~ or click the signature button.
- This will add a signature and timestamp to the end of your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
- Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
- When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
- If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for an administrator.
- You can also customize your user page if you like.
- Additionally, if you would like to add any fanmade content to the Wiki, please do so by adding the prefix User:D and d 123/ to the page title when you create the page.
Once again, welcome to Heroes Wiki!
Mutants
We don't really use that term around here, we usually say "evolved human", but "special" and "one of them" are also good in the proper context. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 10:06, 4 November 2009 (EST)
- We never had issues with repeating the term "evolved humans". But like I said, in the proper context, specials and "one of them" are also used, we mainly revolve around those three. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 17:24, 4 November 2009 (EST)
Illusion
That theory has been killed, see User talk:Altes#Re:Illusion. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 17:16, 4 November 2009 (EST)
- The link above, all the explanation on why that theory can't be right is there, and the references on canon things we know as well. The two notes I mentioned there can be found at Illusion, near the bottom of the page. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 17:21, 4 November 2009 (EST)
Re:What's Going On? Part II
Which ones? The one theory on either of those I remember removing was one about applying pressure, cause Doyle closed a door with his ability. I removed it because according to the current definition of it in the ability page, his ability already includes the manipulation of objects, at least in the functions they're supposed to have. Was that theory yours? Which one on super speed? Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 18:00, 4 November 2009 (EST)
- Doyle being able to manipulate objects kills nervous system theory, objects don't have nervous systems. I'll have to look up on the manipulating space time though. Hang on just a bit. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 18:19, 4 November 2009 (EST)
- Found it. The theory you wrote, which I removed was a rereading of a previous theory, which already had been killed, the previous one being killed by Altes. When Daphne took Ando and Matt to NY to search for Isaac's last comic, he mentioned her ability was too wind. If she manipulated space and time, that wouldn't happen, there are no wind effects or references to Hiro, neither when he teleports nor when he time travels. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 18:23, 4 November 2009 (EST)
- There's also ability extension. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 18:49, 5 November 2009 (EST)
- What I meant it was both ability immunity and extension. I'm not a big fan of theories, I just go through them to make sure there are no crazy theories, like Mr. Muggles and Waffles as it used to be, and to make sure that the theories are solid. I suggest taking this up with Altes as well. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 18:59, 5 November 2009 (EST)

Hey there. Take a look at this pic, it explains why super speed can't be slowing time down.
AltesUTC CH
- Don't get mad like that. Empath is just strict. If you believe you have weighty arguments, feel free to post any theory you want, there's indeed no rule against resurrecting killed theories if you can prove them.
AltesUTC CH
- I understood your argument, but I believed it could be better worded. I understood the example, but it was unnecessarily complex. Your idea is still there, just in different words. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 18:31, 8 November 2009 (EST)
Hi D and D
Dont forget to place your sinature at a talk page, this can help you with that Help:Signatures.--Yoshi n1 16:22, 5 November 2009 (EST)
Signature
Please remember to add your signature at the end of every comment you make, just type --~~~~, or press the signature button, thanks - Jenx222 | U / T / C 19:02, 5 November 2009 (EST)
Theories
Just a note, anything that gets written on here will be heavily scrutinized so some people will look into theories to see if they are viable. If you want to keep your theories on here try putting them in your user space (e.g User:D and d 123/Theories), they wont get deleted from your own user space, just a suggestion - Jenx222 | U / T / C 19:11, 5 November 2009 (EST)
Re:Please
If people had to ask permission to change what other people wrote, the entire wiki system wouldn't work. As far as theories go, most of my recent edits on what other people write (such as questions) are to implement a set of guidelines proposed by Ryan, which you can find at Heroes Wiki talk:Patrollers#Theory pages. Other than that, my only posts to theories are arguments to support or refute what other people have written, I hardly ever add a theory myself, I did add one to Compass theories recently, but other than that, I don't remember the last time I added a new theory anywhere. What I do is tweak and reply. I'm a patroller, I'm supposed to do quality check on other's posts, I just happen to be one who patrols more the theory pages, mostly because other patrollers don't like really like them much.
