Fan Theories

  • Matt mentally interrogates Noah Bennet for crucial information while Mohinder and Peter look on.
    • This information could be the location of Matt's ex-wife, Janice and their son, Matthew, or the true whereabouts of Daphne, who is believed to be kidnapped, possibly dead.
  • Possible meta-human arms race?
  • The term cold in the episode title is somehow related to Tracy Strauss.
  • The title may refer to the battle between Tracy and Monica over who can protect, or take care of Micah during their time on the run, without using their powers or weapons -- a cold war, similar to the Cold War between the US and the Soviet Union, a war without weapons.
    • Or perhaps, multiple 'weaponless battles.'
    • In reference to "cold war," it could refer to a stockpiling of evolved humans as weapons.
    • It could also relate to an international pressure that may result into a third world war in another dark future involving evolved humans.
  • The title may refer to an epic battle between two or more characters who have the ability of freezing.
  • Nathan will capture Noah and Matt, and will torture them, to find out where the others hide.
  • Chandra returns using the alias "Gabriel Suresh" and tries to hunt down Sylar. He also has the ability of induced radioactivity.
  • Chandra will appear in a flashback sequence.
