Evolved twins such as Alejandro and Maya have a split version of one ability. If only one of them was born they could have the power to cause and cure the black tear disease. Being twins might have split the power into 2 parts.	None	- Alejandro and Maya are fraternal twins, and as such, do not share the same DNA. So, even if "splitting" of powers was possible between identical twins, it would not apply to them.
Alejandro's ability is simply healing, like Linderman.	None	+ Many characters this season have shared powers with a previous character (West, Maury, Adam). - Linderman's eyes did not seem affected the same way as Alejandro's. • It's possible that healing absorbs diseases partially, and only Maya's ability causes blackness of the eyes. - Alejandro hasn't been shown to heal anything other than those affected by Maya's ability (through healing Maya). • Alejandro may not have full control of his abilities. Linderman had probably over 30 years more experience than Alejandro.
Alejandro's ability is to absorb foreign contaminants (like poisons and germs) into his body and destroy them with a powerful immune system. Rather than only absorbing, Alejandro ability "attracts" diseases, at a short distance, this can nulify Maya power, but at a "medium" distance this makes Maya's power stronger and affecting everything between and near the two. It would be safer if the twins are completely separated.	None	+ His ability "heals" Maya and nearby victims as well, showing that it works at distance (the range is unknown). - Maya can still activate her power when near him. + She could just be using her power at a greater strength due concentration. + Maya spend a time trying to become a nun, she was there long enough to be found by her brother, but not enough to her ability to manifest again and cause everyone to die. + Maya power almost imediatly manifest when Nidia is trying to help them to cross the border, but not when they are separated by the guards in Lizards her power only manifests after she arrives in jail.
Alejandro's ability is to reverse death itself	Alejandro manages to protect himself from Maya's ability as well as revive others.	Perhaps maya's ability is to cause instant death, and his is to reverse recent death.
