Ando is Angela and Kaito's son. Future Ando is an illusion created by an evolved human yet to be introduced, or a person such as Sylar or Peter mimicking these abilities, intended to trick Hiro. She, or someone with similar abilities, may have altered an evolved human who can shoot red bolts to look like Ando. + Sylar could both shapeshift into Ando and steal or copy Ando's power.
Future Ando is a hero and future Hiro is evil.	None.	+ Ando looked sad that he had to take Hiro out. - He may not have been "taking Hiro out". He may have been augmenting Hiro's power (if he has it back yet) for an unknown reason. + Although it isn't certain about the nature of Pinehearst Company, in the future Ando works for them, and so far they have been the good guys (in the future, that is), by taking down terrorists. + Future Ando killed (or simply attacked) Future Hiro with red lightning. Unlike them, Sylar, Linderman, Adam and Arthur never wore red clothes. - Nathan doesn't look like he's in the good guy territory anymore. • Nathan hasn't worn red recently... - If Hiro were evil, he could have easily killed Ando first. Ando does not actually have power augmentation. His ability falls more along the lines of energy manipulation, which includes power manipulation as an unintentional byproduct.	The first manifestation of Ando's ability did not result from him touching Matt or Daphne.	+ Ando's red lightning also affects people without abilities. + Ando could be manipulating whatever is manipulated by all people with abilities. • A la the Star Wars prequels' midichlorian debacle. + When Ando first manifests his artificial ability, it begins as random sparks of red energy jumping off of his hands. • The reason it augmented Matt's ability may be because when Matt grabbed Ando, the energy increased Matt's energy output, which in turn increased the potency of his ability. + This could also be true for Daphne when she grabbed Ando, the energy jumped off of him and into her. • If Future Ando has the same power as present Ando, then power manipulation, in the form it has been shown via the graphic novels and the actual show, may not be able to be done remotely. • Ando simply couldn't handle his new ability at first. Besides, after injecting himself he wasn't shown touching (or being touched by) other evolved humans without affecting their abilities.
Ando is an orphan.	None.	+ He said Kaito was like a father to him. • He could be from a single parent family, living only with his mother. - He could have had a bad relationship with his father, Hiro only managed to have a good relationship with his father later in life. • Charles Deveaux used to say Peter was like a son to him. That simply meant Charles loved Peter.
Ando has a crush on Hiro.	None.	+ He follows Hiro religiously, wanting to make sure he stays safe, even travelling cross-continentally with him. That seems like a possible sign of having feelings for Hiro. + This unrequited love would certainly fill the void in his soul left by Lasvegasniki after his brief stalker phase. • Following someone around the world doesn't make one homosexual. • But it does imply that you care for said person greatly in one way or another. • But not necessarily in a romantic way, it can be purely platonic. - Ando and Hiro know each other since they were children, they're loyal friends. + Often, romantic relationships/feelings develop from friendships. • Nothing particularly romantic was ever hinted between the two of them. • But on the other hand, the possibility was never shot down canonically, its open to interpretation. • If that's the case, anything is possible as long as it can't be proved 100% wrong. - Ando has a thing for Hiro's sister. + That doesn't mean he doesn't still have a thing for Hiro (if he does), he could very well be bisexual. - Heroes has had two homosexual characters "stripped" of their homosexuality before, it's unlikely they'd suddenly make a character change his sexual orientation, or come out of the closet. + No one on Heroes has been "stripped" of their homosexuality. If you're referring to Zach his sexuality was downplayed though given all the signs and sources in canon and outside they've pretty much is. Can't think of anyone else you might be referring to... And no one's saying Ando is suddenly changing his orientation, I'm saying it was there from the start. - That's why it's stated changing or coming out of the closet, the other gay character was supposed to be a cheerleader in early Volume Two, but the storyline was shot down before it was even filmed. + That still doesn't make the cheerleader not gay or Ando not bi, they just decided to leave it out and imply certain things, like with Zach. - By that logic, the Haitian and Noah are gays too, since they worked together for years. - Peter and Nathan could have been gays as well, the fact they were brothers doesn't mean they weren't perverts. - Mohinder slept with Maya, an evolved human and his test subject, just like Sylar (posing as Zane Taylor) was. Doesn't mean he slept with Sylar too. - The same with Chandra.
Ando will marry Kimiko.	None.	+ Kimiko was impressed with him, for standing up to her ex boyfriend. + Before he died, Kaito was also impressed. - Hiro will never accept Ando marrying his sister. • Why not? Japanese mentality doesn't forbide that. + Hiro is Ando's best friend, and Ando had been like a brother to him. + Ando has not had a romantic relationship despite a crush on Niki.

Perhaps a married couple? - BTE said earth manipulation guy and red lightning caused it. - In that future, many people had abilities, there could be people with those abilities other than Ando and Sparrow. + Guy doesn't necessarily mean male. It could mean person. - Nothing prevents another character with that ability being introduced. - Sparrow is too young for Ando. + So was Arthur Petrelli for Angela. - They haven't even met. + They haven't met yet but could through Rebel.
