This indicates Jack Coleman was not involved in the scene where Nathan gets shot. • He may have simply been coy to avoid spoilers. • This is not the first time the show has used a stand-in to represent a character, even though the role of that character has already been filled and the actor is available for shooting (i.e. the hooded killer being played by a stand-in, despite David Anders already playing the role of Adam Monroe.) - It was confirmed that David Anders did, in fact, play the hooded killer.
