Sylar and Peter meet for the final showdown.

How to Stop an Exploding Man

The first two persons to arrive at the Kirby Plaza are Mr. Bennet and Peter looking for Sylar that, according to Molly, "he was already there". Peter suggests that Sylar's hiding somewhere, but before Mr. Bennet (wich we know now that his name is Noah) can say anything, Sylar shows up and throws Noah to a wall. Peter gets scared and puts himself face-to-face with Sylar. Using his Telekinesis power, Sylar chokes Peter and says that he doesn't want Peter to take al the glory. Just then Matt shoots five bullets at Sylar, but he stops them and "shoots them back" to Matt leaving him on the cradle of his death. At that very moment, after escaping the building's guards and summoning an elevator, D.L., Micah, Molly, Niki and Mohinder leave the building with a wounded D.L.. Mohinder rushes to Matt to try and save him.

While Sylar is choking Peter, with his other hand he grabs a telepark meter and hits Peter with it. Niki takes the telepark meter from Sylar and with her new Enhanced Strength she hits him with it. Micah calls for Niki and Peter tells her to go back to her family. Peter then goes to Sylar and punches him with Niki's power but just then, his hands start to glow and Sylar laughs.

Hiro teleports back from Japan where he left Ando after rescuing him from Sylar's attempt of killing him in Isaac's loft. Hiro run's to Sylar with his new sword and stabs him. Sylar falls on the ground wounded. Hiro goes to Peter and Peter says that he can stop him from exploding by killing him, but befores Hiro can do anything, Sylar at the mercy of his death throws Hiro to a building and before he hits the building he teleports to Kyoto, Japan in 1671. Sylar appearantly dies as he sees flashes in his eyes.

Everyone panics. Claire arrives. She takes the gun from Noah goes to a glowing Peter and points it at him. Peter tells her to shoot him telling her that she's the only one that can do it. As Claire crys asking if there isn't another way Nathan arrives flying lowing Claire's gun down. He tells Peter that he's not leaving him also saying that he can't let everyone else die. Nathan speaks the words "you saved the cheerleader, so we could save the world". Nathan grabs Peter and takes him to the sky where Peter finally explodes and Niki asks what happened to them. Everyone gets emotioned.
