Character History
Graphic Novel:Life Before Eden
Eden's father and stepmother are constantly arguing. After one particularly bad night, he leaves and never returns home. Eden's stepmother tells Eden that the man left because of Eden.
Graphic Novel:Fathers and Daughters
After Eden's death, Mr. Bennet tracks down Eden's father; he is now much older but still an alcoholic. Eden's father's disinterest in his daughter enrages Mr. Bennet, and he exclaims that Eden overcame her past and died a hero. Eden's father finally shows some remorse, saying "I'm sorry. It's not my fault..." Walking away, Mr. Bennet tells The Haitian to "Don't erase everything. Leave the guilt."
