Sparrow Redhouse is an evolved human from Chandra's list.
Character History
Homecoming
By entering his sister Shanti's name as a password, Mohinder Suresh is able to unlock a list of evolved humans. Sparrow's name is included on that list.
Graphic Novel:String Theory
In 2011, Future Hiro rescues a young woman named Sparrow from police. When he scolds her for not obeying her curfew, Sparrow criticizes the government.
Villains
Sparrow's name is the fifth of five names on Gabriel's list. Also, Gabriel's list gives New Mexico as her location.
Notes
- To date, besides appearing on several lists of evolved humans, Sparrow has only been visibly seen in 3 Graphic Novel frames in (String Theory), and has only spoken once, when Future Hiro reminds her about not being out past curfew, Sparrow replies: "Says who? The Government?"".
- Sparrow is mentioned by Joe Pokaski and Aron Coleite in a Q&A dated November 27, 2006. When asked for hints about as-yet unseen characters named on the List, the writers responded: "We can tell you that we'll meet a few of them this season. And pay close attention to the locations. Too bad this cut didn't show you Hannah Gittleman [sic] or Sparrow Redhouse. Than [sic] we'd have some stories to tell."
- In the first appearance of the List, Sparrow's location is given as just "New Mexico", the only visible listing without a specific city or town (Homecoming). In a printed version of the List, there is a question mark next to Sparrow Redhouse's name (Run!).
- Given her name and the fact that she wears feathers, Sparrow may be of Native American descent.
