D.L. trains to become a firefighter and saves the whole squad when the test goes awry. (Man on Fire)
Micah celebrates his eleventh birthday.
- After the party is over, Niki pours a bunch of pills down her kitchen sink.
At the Company's hospital in Hartsdale, NY, Peter finally tells Adam his name.

A police officer investigates the deaths of at least eight people in a Central American town. Meanwhile, a girl and her brother, who resemble the people in the officer's drawing, are hitchhiking towards Brooklyn in the back of a pickup truck. (Maya y Alejandro)
Bob heads to Bhutan to interrogate "Goose" about Richard Drucker's current location. Bob ends up killing "Goose" by turning his entire body into gold and dumping him in a vat of molten lava. (The Golden Goose)

Adam tells Peter that they're really in a prison.
- Peter asks Bob if he can see his family, but Bob says it is not possible at the moment.
Angela asks Heidi to keep the dark secret in the Petrelli family.
On what is suppose to be her first day as a car salesman, Niki is trapped by Gina, who then travels to Los Angeles.
D.L., now a firefighter, uses his phasing skills to save a girl from a burning building.
- D.L. comes home to find Micah watching video footage of D.L.'s save of the little girl on television, and says that his father really is a hero.
- D.L. goes into Niki's room to find a message on the mirror, written in what appears to be lipstick: "Gone to LA! C-ya"

Peter and Adam escape the Company's custody.
Alejandro finds Maya in a church in Zulia, Venezuela. Alejandro urges Maya to go home and brings forth a policeman.
- Maya gets emotional and her ability starts to manifest. She infects the policeman and another nun before Alejandro grabs her hands and revive the victims. The two of them run to the exit.
D.L. finds Niki at a nightclub. D.L. is murdered as they try to leave.
Adam and Peter arrive at Nathan's hospital bedside. Adam takes some of his own blood and injects it into Nathan's catheter. Right before their eyes, Nathan starts to heal immediately. Peter takes a photo of him and Nathan.
At a New York shipping yard, Adam and Peter attempt to leave, but Elle and the Haitian chase the two. Peter and Adam separate, and in front of a shipping crate, the Haitian finally catches up to Peter, and pushes him into the crate. The Haitian forces Peter into one of the corners of the shipping crate, and then handcuffs him to it. The Haitian gives Peter his symbol necklace, and tells him that he is repaying a debt to Angela Petrelli by saving Peter. The Haitian then erases his memory. The Haitian runs out, and the last thing Peter sees before darkness is the Haitian closing the shipping crate doors on him.
- The crate, with Peter in it, ends up in Cork, Ireland.

Mohinder's taxi license expires. (Genesis) (Note: this date does not exist in reality.)
