Disambig
I took the liberty of disambiguating (is that even a word?) the links to this page. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 21:19, 11 April 2009 (EDT)
Name
User:Shadowulf1 15:38, 14 April 2009 (EDT) If it's the ability to absorb life-force, regardless of the rotting factor, it should be called Life-Force Absorption.
No idea what to call this. Definitely something related to decay/rotting and the link. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 21:21, 11 April 2009 (EDT)
- Sound like aura absorption. BoomerDay 22:58, 11 April 2009 (EDT)
- We don't know as to whether this Linda sees auras... I was going to call it life-force absorption, but since we don't know whether or not it works both ways--it might be life-force transference instead. That's something Linda was never shown to do. I'm curious as to how this Linda gained her rotting appearance before Anna arrived; knowing that could help things a lot.--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:05, 11 April 2009 (EDT)
- I would say that if you don't know the limits, manipulation would work because it doesn't specify or rule out possible limits. For example, Time manipulation can refer to: traveling through time, stopping it, slowing it down, reversing it, or any combination of the above. I would say that Life-force manipulation could mean any combination of absorbing life-force, transferring life-force, ect. "Manipulating" would be to control it in some means. This would leave it open to all options without choosing one specific part of the ability. --Bender 01:33, 13 April 2009 (EDT)
- I think saying it is manipulation would be as speculative as saying it is just absorption at this point. I also think there are just too many unknowns to come up with a non-speculative name for this ability until we know more.--MiamiVolts (talk) 02:15, 13 April 2009 (EDT)

I dislike speculative names as well, however I agree that it has something to do with life force, but not manipulation. I think an appropriate name would be Age Transferal, or Life-Force Transferal, however until we have more information, I think Linda's Ability is best. Just putting in my two cents. :) --Serphaty
Is this
- Is this her?--Skyeatsout (talk) 01:27, 12 April 2009 (EDT)
- Well, as far as we know, Linda Tavara is dead and so this ability belongs to this new woman. PS: I added your signature for you. Please remember to add it by typing --~~~~ after your message or clicking the java signature button. Thanks!--MiamiVolts (talk) 02:19, 12 April 2009 (EDT)
- Yeah, but it is strange that 2 Evolved Humans with the same name would have so similar powers....I think they are different people too, but with Heroes we never can be sure;)--Sylar Fan09 17:24, 14 April 2009 (EDT)
