  • We don't know as to whether this Linda sees auras... I was going to call it life-force absorption, but since we don't know whether or not it works both ways--it might be life-force transference instead. That's something Linda was never shown to do. I'm curious as to how this Linda gained her rotting appearance before Anna arrived; knowing that could help things a lot.--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:05, 11 April 2009 (EDT)
    • I would say that if you don't know the limits, manipulation would work because it doesn't specify or rule out possible limits. For example, Time manipulation can refer to: traveling through time, stopping it, slowing it down, reversing it, or any combination of the above. I would say that Life-force manipulation could mean any combination of absorbing life-force, transferring life-force, ect. "Manipulating" would be to control it in some means. This would leave it open to all options without choosing one specific part of the ability. --Bender 01:33, 13 April 2009 (EDT)

I dislike speculative names as well, however I agree that it has something to do with life force, but not manipulation. I think an appropriate name would be Age Transferal, or Life-Force Transferal, however until we have more information, I think Linda's Ability is best. Just putting in my two cents. :) --Serphaty

Delete, Undelete, Delete

Sorry about the recent deletion, restoration, and redeletion (is that a word?) or "Life-Force Absorption". Besides being incorrectly named (names of abilities are not capitalized in the title case), I don't see any consensus on this page for that title. As well, when a power name does have consensus, the page should be moved, not simply copied and pasted or redirected. Suitable names?

So far we only have two names (other than Linda's ability), I think that Life force manipulation or Life force absorption are the best. Does anyone have any others too add? --posted by Laughingdevilboy Talk 13:37, 20 April 2009 (EDT)

• Aura absorption (Linda Tavara, <-?-?-?-> Linda Niles): The ability to perceive the aura of others, and to absorb that aura. Absorbing the auras of evolved humans has been shown to allow the user to manifest their power. -- Mike the Man-child!
  • There is no evidence that she can see aura's and as far as we know only living things have aura's. Anyways the problem now is do we call this Linda's or Leona's ability. Or do we have a consensus on life force manipulation/absorption? --posted by Laughingdevilboy
