*** Personally, I wouldn't draw any conclusions off of it since in the past they've seemed to use that power frequently as background sound for Sylar for its creepiness factor. ([[User:Admin|Admin]] 01:12, 16 October 2007 (EDT))

Revision as of 05:12, 16 October 2007

The links from the episode said his name was "Derek", so I used that when I started the page (thanks for the cleanup btw). Was that what he was credited as in the episode? I don't recall his name being mentioned in the dialogue at any point... Aapold 15:53, 9 October 2007 (EDT)

  • IMDB and a few spoilers have his name listed as Derek.--Bob 16:13, 9 October 2007 (EDT)
  • He was not credited by name in the episode--only minor appearances in the end credits list a role, actors credited in the opening credits do not. But he has been named "Derek" in several secondary sources.--Hardvice (talk) 16:28, 9 October 2007 (EDT)

Powers?

"It is implied in The Kindness of Strangers that Derek has a power. Sylar "hears" his trademark ticking from Derek and kills him by striking him in the back of the head."

I don't think this implies that Derek had a power in the slightest. I think it implies that Sylar was working out a plan to get Maya and Alejandro to himself, and to keep Derek from calling the cops.--Hardvice (talk) 01:04, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
