Thanks for uploading those images for the [[prophecy]] article. I know it can be a pain to have a few different versions of the same images...but it really keeps the site standardized and looking uniform. They look terrific. Thanks! -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 21:27, 28 February 2009 (EST) |

Moving quotes
- Did you discuss this change first since it significantly affects many articles? (Admin 10:56, 26 January 2009 (EST))
- Didn't see it as a significant effect, just trying to clean things up some...some of the character pages are really long now, and alot of the quotes are redundant between the few that are listed on the character page and the few that are listed on the memorable quotes page. And the memorable quotes page itself, is pretty large and bulky. I thought branching the quotes off of each character page would be a pretty simple change for the better, and didn't expect anyone to see it as problematic. Trying to be consistent with how we do the images for characters. Do you want me to stop and revert? --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 01/26/2009 10:59 (EST)
- I reverted the changes already but left the quotes pages for now until we see how everyone would like to proceed. I agree there are some issues with the quotes. Criteria for inclusion are so subjective that it becomes easy for them to get out of control. I'd recommend posting something on the community portal talk page so we can see what people think about different solutions (including any naming convention for separate quote articles). (Admin 11:03, 26 January 2009 (EST))
- OK, I started the discussion there. Add anything you see as pertinent. I hope I described my idea clearly enough. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 01/26/2009 11:14 (EST)

FYI
Just so you know - I just uploaded pics of the AF characters ;) --Pierre 10:52, 27 January 2009 (EST)
SB Commercial article
Are you planning to start the Promotional Event article for the Super Bowl commercial? I noticed you had uploaded most of the relevant images.--MiamiVolts (talk) 12:29, 2 February 2009 (EST)
- I put up an entry of it here List of references to Heroes...it seemed the best fit for it, but if you think it should have it's own article like you say above, I think that would be a better idea. Take a look at what I've already done, and let me know what you think. If you want to do a full-page article, I don't have a problem with that. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 02/2/2009 12:37 (EST)
- Well, it was kind of a big promotional event, considering the cost... I was thinking of calling it Super Bowl XLIII commercials and listing all of the Heroes commercials. What do you think?--MiamiVolts (talk) 13:22, 2 February 2009 (EST)
- I agree with you, Miami. It's not like the Super Bowl was referencing Heroes, but rather Heroes was promoting itself through commercials that aired during the Super Bowl. I think it should be its own article, though I would call it "Super Bowl XLIII commercials" (lowercase c). :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 13:27, 2 February 2009 (EST)
- Cool by me. I have the "football game" clip loaded on my home computer and can scarf additional pics if you find any omitted that you think need to be included in the article gallery.--HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 02/2/2009 13:41 (EST)
- Good idea on the lowercase c (just fixed above comment). I guess I'll start work on a page. Feel free to join in.--MiamiVolts (talk) 14:14, 2 February 2009 (EST)
- Thanks for the help. The article's looking good now, though it could probably use at least a couple screenshot of the other two commercials. Can you upload some HD screenshots of them or should I just grab some screenshots off YouTube?--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:31, 2 February 2009 (EST)
- In my excitement to capture the Heroes football game, I only burned it to DVD last night. I saw the other heroes clips, but didn't capture them. You might check Hulu too, it might have a higher-res version of them than Youtube. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 02/2/2009 19:42 (EST)

Images
Thanks for uploading new images. On some of them, you put templates that aren't needed, like the "photographs" template on Image:Sylar riding a bigwheel.jpg, or the business template on Image:Samson Gray's Taxidermy Business.jpg. When you get a chance, could you go back through and make sure there aren't any errant templates on those images? Thanks! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:56, 3 February 2009 (EST)
My subpage
Thank you for going through the trouble of updating my subpage with magazine pictures. Even though I was trying to avoid using those, I think I've changed my mind after seeing how good it looks. Much appreciated.--Citizen 06:59, 8 February 2009 (EST)
Wow
You must have a Buddha patience to get, tweak and upload all those images. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 12:46, 25 February 2009 (EST)
- Naw, the hardpart now is building the image-map template for them...using the groupoftwelve as a guide...Several of the pics are really bad resolution though...hope to find cleaner shots later for some of them. At least we will have something to work from and to update. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 02/25/2009 12:48 (EST)
Unaired images
Where are you getting your recent unaired images from? If they're from NBC.com, then they are not screenshots, but promotional images. But you should probably specify where they're coming from. Thanks! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:54, 27 February 2009 (EST)
- I got the recent additional Flight 195 occupants from Beaman's blog. They are actually in the plane, there just aren't any close face-shots of them in the episode that they are distinguishable like in the scenes found on Beaman's blog which they didn't air. Fundamentally, what is the difference between a promo-image and an unaired image? I would think a promo image is a picture related to heroes, but outside of the canon events'...whereas an unaired image is a picture taken in related to canon events that simple was cut and wasn't aired. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 02/27/2009 11:18 (EST)
- You're right, if it's from Beeman's blog, it's not a promotional image. Promo images are the ones that are released on NBC.com. You're also right that they are unaired images. Just write on the image page that they are from Beeman's blog, then. Put a link if you can. Thanks! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:38, 27 February 2009 (EST)
