• Is this logo the image in its original format, or did you create it as a TIFF or PNG before converting it to JPEG? (Admin 16:23, 5 July 2007 (EDT))
  • I originally saved it as a jpg. I can convert it to png or some other format if you need....Speaking of the logo, I know there was a bit of talk about tweaking it a bit. You saw that I uploaded a few different versions, and I'm not opposed to changing it if needed. hi-def

• The high definition pictures are very pretty. Just be careful not to replace too many with high definition versions since in many cases they're a whole lot larger and the extra detail doesn't substantially enhance the quality of the article it's included in. We should definitely use them in instances where they help reveal a detail that's not visible at a lower resolution, but for most images it will just eat up bandwidth and increase the page load time. • Thanks. I'm resizing most of them to 450x350. I'm leaving the art ones as full size as possible. I've actually noticed that some of them are smaller file sizes. For instance, 127→126 KB, 95→93 KB, and 93→87 KB...Are there any in particular you feel are needlessly large?   • Nah, they look ok at the moment. I just want to make sure we don't start a trend of replacing all our images with high-def ones where they might look a little nicer, but otherwise don't significantly add to the quality of the article they're used in. The ones that are around the same size as before are probably high-def images taken from low-def sources, so they've been a waste the whole time and at least now we're getting something out of that extra size. :) (Admin 21:20, 9 July 2007 (EDT))

Confused

hey there, I saw that there's been a bit of an overhaul of the Candice article - splitting it and such. Is this going to be a site-wide thing, experiment, or...? Thanks for your help. -- Lost Soul 07:06, 19 July 2007 (EDT)

• The general consensus is to take main characters (and any "long" articles) and split their Season One histories off, kind of the way we did for Candice, FBI, and the Company. So, yes, site-wide, but not for every article. -- RyanGibsonStewart (new comment) 08:17, 19 July 2007 (EDT)
