Ernie was a gambler at a high stakes private poker game in Las Vegas.
Character History
Better Halves
The high roller uses Hiro's powers to cheat several other players, including Ernie, at a private high stakes game. Ando, who calls Ernie "the man with the scary face", spots a gun on Ernie's briefcase under the table and assumes the other players are planning to kill him and Hiro. He drags Hiro off to the bathroom just before Niki's alter ego shows up at the game and mutilates everyone there, including Ernie.
Notes
- It's not made explicit which gambler is Niki's money launderer, but presumably it's the host of the game. Whether that's the high roller, Ernie, or the lowlife is not revealed.
- The closing credits refer to Ernie as "Ernie the Weasel".
