Imperative Entertainment announced that there will be six prequel ebooks. The trailer for Dark Matters, a prequel series to Heroes Reborn, has been released. IGN announces that two new videogames, Heroes Reborn: Gemini and Heroes Reborn: Enigma, will be released in September. The two games together serve as a prequel to Heroes Reborn. NBC releases eleven moving character posters to promote Heroes Reborn. A full synopsis for the Heroes Reborn is released on the NBC website, including various new character names and the actors who will play them. A 70-second trailer for Heroes Reborn is released, containing the first footage made available to the public. Heroes Reborn will begin on September 24th. The Heroes Reborn cast will be present at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con. Moderated by Greg Grunberg, the Reborn cast and Tim Kring should participate in a Q&A session. The participants are: Jack Coleman, Zachary Levi, Robbie Kay, Kiki Sukezane, Ryan Guzman, Gatlin Green, Henry Zebrowski, Judith Shekoni, Danika Yarosh and Rya Kihlstedt. Titan Comics will create a five-issue comic series to tie in with Heroes Reborn. Each issue is reported to contain the origin of one of the new characters. Cristine Rose will return as Angela Petrelli in Heroes Reborn. Noah Gray-Cabey will return as Micah Sanders in Heroes Reborn.
