      • Hmm. Not too sure how I feel about that. At the very least I'm going to say that after at most 1-2 weeks we should add the link. Whether we should link to it now or not is tougher to say. Though if they had really wanted to encourage registration they should have setup time-limited links to discourage people from posting the direct link (which is what people are just going to do otherwise).         • Yes, but does poor security really justify bad behaviour? It's like saying it was OK to steal Claire's car because she left the keys in it, to use the first example which springs to mind for some odd reason. The bottom line is that they want people to sign up to see the content. I wouldn't want us to be the reason people fail to do so, which is why I didn't post the direct link to begin with.--Hardvice (talk) 20:53, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
          • I wouldn't agree that it's bad behavior. Surely the more courteous approach would be to take people to the registration. Afterall, we do link directly to the different graphic novel formats while it would be more courteous to link directly to their graphic novel page and let their advertising be shown. We add the links for convenience and because it doesn't appear to be a serious issue. Now if they're purposely changing the link periodically in order to discourage such behavior then it's more clearly antagonistic to keep linking directly to the file.
