I don't really see where there is heroism in this issue. Austin doesn't take risks when he heals Dallas since the sniper appears to be dead. Remember, Austin said : "Clear". --FrenchFlo(talk)(contribs) 11:14, 25 March 2007 (EDT) |

*Right, but the fact that 5 men would give up their names and identifications, that four would be shot, and three would die--that's pretty heroic if you ask me. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:13, 25 March 2007 (EDT) |

The Lonestar File
Well now, we have a bit of a problem: it's pretty clear that the file Hana's reading is called "The Lonestar File" (given the Texas codenames). However, it's standard to redirect the title of the GN sans namespace. I think we're going to have to make an exception this time because the article for the file really ought to be called Lonestar File. Of course, we also need a The Lonestar File (disambig) and a See Also link on probably both the file and the GN. We'll also need to make War Buddies into a disambig page a la Wireless (disambig).--Hardvice (talk) 06:28, 20 March 2007 (EDT)
- True dat. We'll also need to go back and update all the (War Buddies) cites and links ... ugh. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 06:38, 20 March 2007 (EDT)
- Done. Not too bad, really.--Hardvice (talk) 06:55, 20 March 2007 (EDT)
- Okay, so it's taken care of right now, but I just want to be explicit for those who might be reading. The Lonestar File links to the graphic novel page; Lonestar File links to the file Hana reads. Okay, now we're good. :) — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:03, 20 March 2007 (EDT)

Comic Style
- I noticed that this GN's style was very different from the other GNs. I think it may have been a deliberate nod to War Comics genre similar to Sgt. Rock or Easy Company. Most of the other GNs appear to be super-hero genre comics. Can we identify other comic book genres in the other GNs? --AverageMan 17:41, 20 March 2007 (EDT)
- Here is a list of comic genres. --AverageMan 17:43, 20 March 2007 (EDT)
- I guess Turning Point and Road Kill could be considered a crime comic. I think The Crane has the most unusual format of all, but I can't classify it. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:58, 20 March 2007 (EDT)

Series Bars for GN Series?
- Just throwing it out there. I think it would work well for this one, less well for Wireless, and be practically useless for HDYSAEM?--Hardvice (talk) 02:38, 21 March 2007 (EDT)
- Heck, we're making excepting for this one by calling it something different, so why not? — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 07:17, 21 March 2007 (EDT)
- Well, it said two of six, so makes sense to me.--Bob 11:27, 21 March 2007 (EDT)
- The exception is that we're not calling it by its full name: "Graphic Novel:War Buddies:Unknown Soldiers" or even "Graphic Novel:War Buddies:Unknown Soldiers, Part 2 of Six". Yeah, ya gotta take some liberties. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:30, 21 March 2007 (EDT)

Heroism
I don't really see where there is heroism in this issue. Austin doesn't take risks when he heals Dallas since the sniper appears to be dead. Remember, Austin said : "Clear". --FrenchFlo(talk)(contribs) 11:14, 25 March 2007 (EDT)
