Head games ensue as Matt extracts the truth from HRG -- Emmy award winner Zeljko Ivanek and Brea Grant guest-star -- While being held hostage, HRG (Jack Coleman) is subjected to Matt Parkman’s (Greg Grunberg) unique brand of interrogation, revealing how he became involved with Nathan’s (Adrian Pasdar) government plot to capture those with abilities. Meanwhile, Matt’s discoveries bring Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) face-to-face with “The Hunter” (guest star Zeljko Ivanek). Sendhil Ramamurthy and Cristine Rose also star. Ashley Crow also guest stars.

- 12/4 -- Heroes Volume 4 Spoilers Episode 3×17 is almost done filming. Matt and HRG are locked in an intense mental interrogation, both of them breathless, both trying not to pass out. A very intense episode. HRG will have some scenes with Adrian (Nathan).

Fan Theories
- Matt mentally interrogates Noah Bennet for crucial information while Mohinder and Peter look on.
- Nathan will capture Noah and Matt, and will torture them, to find out where the others hide.
- Chandra will appear in a flashback sequence.
- Matt will finally be able to "see" people's thoughts, and will see Sandra in Noah's head.
- Matt will discover Sandra and/or Lyle being kidnapped by Nathan or Homeland Security - this being the persuasion needed to lure HRG to work to capture the Heroes.
- It will be revealed that Daphne survived being shot and is currently being held in a prison.
- Daphne will appear as an illusion to Matt, similarly to Usutu.
- It will be revealed that HRG has powers.
- HRG will have ability of Omnilingualism
- Future Peter will somehow give Peter his lost power
- Future Peter won't return, beacuse present Peter, dosent have the ability of time/space manipulation, so therefore future Peter, dosent excist.
