Theory Citations Notes
Rollo Fusor's accomplice is really Angela Petrelli.
Angela Petrelli in 2006. (Don't Look Back)
Fusor's accomplice in 1990. (Golden Handshake, Part 3)
+ In Angela's discussion with Claire, when they are discussing Claire potentially going to France, she discussed how she had a similar situation and went away.
+ The time-frame of 17 years earlier means that she could be the appropriate age for this character.
+ Angela speaks French.
+ Angela is brunette and has facial characteristics similar to those of Rollo Fusor's accomplice's.
Her power may not be dehydration, but some form of empathic mimicry, similar to Peter's.
- If Golden Handshake takes place 17 years before the series, then Peter and Nathan would already be born. It is unlikely that Angela would be able to travel around the world committing crimes if she had a family to notice she was gone.
+ Angela may be multipowered like Peter and Sylar, and have the ability to astral project (be in more than one place at a time). 17 years ago, Peter would be in school and Nathan most likely in the service, so she would have plenty of time to herself.
- The accomplice died in the end of Golden Handshake, Part 4, leaving it impossible (or very, very unlikely) that they are the same person.
+ The story was a realization based on Claude's report, and Claude even notes to Haram he would falsify what actually happened in the report.
+ In Interview:Golden Handshake, the writers noted that accomplice's name is "Anya", which can be considered a nickname for "Angela". They also noted that for some reason they forgot, they didn't want to mention it in the dialogue. It is likely the real reason is that this reveal is being saved for a future episode.
- In the process of revealing spoilers and giving inside information, the writers never mentioned Angela Petrelli.
+ Writers aren't going to come out and blurt out the big spoilers directly. It just requires a little thought to realize what they were hinting at.
- In an Interview it has been confirmed that Angela has a power, that the power she has is the same or like another Heroes ability and that her ability makes it easier to get from point A to point B so Dehydration is not her power.
Rollo Fusor's accomplice is an escape artist. She swaps a handcuff off herself and onto Haram.(Golden Handshake, Part 1)
She vanishes without a trace off the upper balcony of a Paris hotel.(Golden Handshake, Part 2)
She quick-changes into a black jumpsuit, outruns Haram and Claude, and hides successfully behind a tree.(Golden Handshake, Part 3)
+ In one frame of the swap, the cuff is on her and by the next frame, she has clicked it onto Haram, as if by magic (sleight of hand).
+ Claude and Haram storm into the hotel room, right after hearing a scream, but she's already gone.
Being an escape artist doesn't necessarily require a special ability.
The graphic novel's description of the woman's death is false. Golden Handshake, Part 4 + Claude said he would "fudge" the facts to help Haram.
+ In Interview:Golden Handshake, the writers have confirmed that the depicted events were from Claude's report, and that the report was falsified.
+ It seems implausible that the woman would be able to dehydrate herself. If her hands sucked the water out of her body, it would just transfer the water back into her body.
+ The evolved humans previously depicted appear to be immune to their own powers.
- Maybe Haram had a power that allowed him to turn the powers of other evolved humans on themselves.
+ The Company always pairs one normal person with one evolved human. It is unlikely that Haram has any power.
This woman is the evolved human Claude was protecting. None - The accomplice died in 1990. Claude is ordered killed in 1999 for protecting an evolved human.
- Claude was one of the woman's victims and has no perceivable reason for protecting her.
+ In Interview:Golden Handshake, the writers have confirmed that the depicted events were from Claude's report, and that the report was falsified.
