Summary
Synopsis
Lydia looks at a picture of her daughter, Amanda, but is caught by Samuel. He infers that she is from her family, but Lydia says it's just a part of her past that she'd rather forget. Samuel tells her that the carnival is a safe place for people like them, and that Amanda would be protected if she's gifted. Lydia lies to him and say she's not. Samuel finally leaves, but Lydia has a surprising encounter: her daughter has found her.
