Samuel discovers Lydia's secret.

Summary

  • Samuel confronts Lydia about her daughter.
  • Lydia receives a visit from someone unexpected.

Synopsis

Lydia looks at a picture of her daughter, Amanda, but quickly hides it away when Samuel approaches. Samuel is angry with Lydia and tells her to show it to him. He then grabs her arm and reveals a tattoo of Amanda hidden on Lydia's arm. Samuel then asks Lydia what secrets she has been keeping. Lydia tells Samuel of Amanda and Samuel attempts to discover if Amanda is special. Lydia denies that she is and then claims that she doesn't want to get to know Amanda as her real family is the carnival.

Samuel accepts this and leaves. Lydia then drops her "tough act" and turns around. She is shocked to see Amanda standing in a doorway, having heard the conversation. Amanda smiles sadly and says "Hi mom".
