[[Mohinder]] calls his girlfriend [[Mira]] in [[India]], and says it was a mistake for him to return to the United States to follow up [[Chandra|his father]]'s work. He prepares to burn the [[Coyote Sands film]], but [[Hiro]] appears and freezes time, swapping the film canister over. As the film burns, [[Samuel]] bursts into the room, demanding to know what was on it. Mohinder refuses to tell him and Samuel crushes a rock, [[Terrakinesis|hurling]] the fragments into Mohinder's chest. He says he's sorry and flees. Mohinder gasps and recovers, and Hiro appears saying he placed a Kevlar vest on Mohinder to protect him. When Mohinder refuses to go into hiding, Hiro teleports them both away. |

After Isaac leaves Primatech Paper Co., he stays at the Midland Motel. Having seen the prophetic nature of his sketches, he attempts to paint the future again without using heroin. Encouraged by Hiro, Isaac creates a painting of Hiro, brandishing a sword against a large dinosaur.
Once Upon a Time in Texas
At the Burnt Toast Diner, Lauren Gilmore hands Noah a motel key and invites him to stay a night with her at the Midland Motel.
