Nine weeks ago is [[Mohinder]] teaching [[Mohinder's student|a student]] on tectonic plates. When Mohinder is done, Mira states that Mohinder's students adore him, and that he was born to teach. While Mohinder is talking, Mira is searching for something and then finds a box with [[Chandra]]'s old works in it. Mira argues that he promised to throw it away. Mohinder says that it's his father's lifework and that it's hard for him to throw it away. Mira states that they have a good life in India, and that when he works on his father's research he just vanishes. Mohinder says that she is right and puts the box with all of Chandra's work in the garbage can. |

The next morning, Mira finds Mohinder asleep, in the middle of his father's research. Mira wakes him up and he tells her that he has made a remarkable discovery. Mira buts him and is upset with him for not throwing it away. Mohinder tries to argue, but Mira says Mohinder is obsessed. She pleads for him to think about what he has, and what he has to lose. Mira tells him that if he leaves to continue his father's work, she won't wait for him to return. |

Later Mohinder wakes up in the middle of the night and steps out of bed, it's revealed that he still got the box with Chandra's work in it and is looking at some of the movies in it and is working on something. |

The next morning Mohinder is sleeping till Mira wakes him and Mohinder states to Mira that he has made an remarkable discovery and he starts to talk but Mira interrupts and states that Mohinder promised to throw it away, Mohinder starts to talk again about the discovery he made but she again interrupts again and Mira says that Mohinder is possessed by the voices in his head. Then Mira says to Mohinder that he must think about what he gots and what he has to lose if he starts to finish Chandra's work again, and that Mira will leave Mohinder if he does start again. |

Character History
Seven Minutes to Midnight
At Chandra's funeral, Nirand points out Mira to Mohinder and suggests that there is perhaps more than just a job waiting for him. Later, she arrives at Chandra's office looking for him. She apologizes for arguing with him about his father's research. She tells him that she's been promoted to the head of genetic research at her company and offers him a job—provided he agrees to forget all about his father's theories. Mohinder tells her he'll think about it.
Homecoming
Mohinder's mother mentions that Mira told her that Mohinder rejected her job offer and will be returning to New York.
