Hacking
On May 14, 2007 Hana Gitelman hacked the website and added a notice claiming Nathan is a puppet and that the election is being rigged.
Voicemail
On May 14, 2007, Nathan Petrelli's campaign sent out the following voice message to Heroes 360 participants:
Hi. This is Nathan Petrelli, and I'm running for Congress. You know, I believe our children deserve a better future. A future where they don't have to face their fears alone. A future where they can look into the darkness and find hope. Help me build this brighter future. Let's do it together. Let's show them all exactly what we're capable of. For more information about my campaign, please visit votepetrelli.com. And again, thank you for your time.
A Heartfelt Thank You
After the election the website was updated with a thank you and Nathan's victory speech:
And regardless of who you voted for, I promise to be everyone's public servant for the next four years as a member of the United States Congress.

Nathan Petrelli's Victory Speech:
Nathan Steps Down
On September 23, 2007, Nathan stepped down from his elected position with this message:
My fellow New Yorkers, it’s been a long and hard journey to the top of the mountain, and I thoroughly appreciate everything you have given me and have done for my family and I. This state is the archetype of this country, and has allowed for more opportunity than I ever thought imaginable. Winning the election on November 2nd was a thrill that I will never forget, nor would I want to. It’s something that will remain with me, even as I make the following statement.
In all the decisions I have made in my public life, I have always tried to do what was best for New York and its citizens. Recently I have encountered a situation that renders me unable to put the best interest of New York as my number one concern. Without going further into further details, I am resigning from my elected seat as Junior Senator of New York state, effective immediately.
This was never my intention, and I want all of you to know that my desire to do the right thing for the people of New York, the same quality that won my election, is the same desire and urge I have right now. Please do not worry about me or my family. While there are extenuating circumstances to explain my abrupt change of heart, I do not wish to delve deeply into any of my reasons, as they are personal. And in these hard times, privacy is important for my family.Notes
- votepetrelli.com states that Nathan is running for the 30th District of New York. However, Nathan leaves a message for Chandra in which he says he is running for the 14th District. (Don't Look Back)
- Nathan pledges to be "everyone's public servant" as he serves his four-year term in the US Congress. Members of the House of Representatives only serve for two-year terms; Nathan would have to be re-elected to serve four years. US Senators serve for six years, but Nathan was not elected to the Senate.
- The Heroes 360 site also lists Nathan's residence as being in the 30th District. It also states that he lives with his mother. However, Nathan and his wife live in Hyde Park, NY. Angela lives in Manhattan. (Nothing to Hide)
- According to information on the site, Nathan was in the United States Navy as an officer and a pilot. He served tours of duty in Bosnia, Serbia, and Rwanda.
- The site also notes that Nathan served under the district attorney as a prosecutor, where he "put many criminals behind bars."
- The death of his father is listed as Nathan's motivation for running for Congress.
Trivia
- In reality, the New York 30th District no longer exists, and if it did, it would be in western New York State.
