Spoiler talk:Sophie
We haven't heard about Sophie for a long time. I think she could just be Elle....--Hero!(talk)(contribs) 19:55, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
- I think she'll probably end up being the young version of this woman. Jessica Collins looks enough like Joanna Cassidy to fit the casting call.--Hardvice (talk) 20:19, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
- Guess not... --Thrashmeister 17:40, 5 December 2007 (EST)
AFD
There's only been two spoilers, none of them from NBC (and one's from Kristin Veitch), about Sophie, and both of them seem to refer to Elle. This article should go. --Hero!(talk)(contribs) 22:25, 16 December 2007 (EST)
- Though you very well may be correct, I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that those spoilers are about Elle. The Hollywood Reporter is quite reputable, and I'm curious to see if Jessica Collins will appear in the next pod of episodes. Whether the spoilers were misdirected, the casting changed, or she simply hasn't appeared yet, I'd wait to delete anything. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:50, 16 December 2007 (EST)
- And even if season 2 is cut short her character would be moved to "season" 3. So I don't think this should be deleted. Should we take away the delete box? Jason Garrick 15:38, 21 December 2007 (EST)
- I would. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:56, 21 December 2007 (EST)
- For now, I think it would probably be best to keep it, however, should we set an estimate for how long it will stay? I'm sure if when we're entering season 5, and she hasn't shown up, the page would have long since been considered dead weight. -- Lulu .:talk:. 22:05, 21 December 2007 (EST)
- OK, OK, here me out. If you google "Jessica Collins Heroes", virtually all the relevant hits either directly quote The Hollywood Reporter or state it as their source. Not even IMDb has her her listed, and they usually have credits up the moment there's news of a casting. If this character still exists, we certaintly would have more about her. --Hero!(talk)(contribs) 01:48, 22 December 2007 (EST)
- I'm very much hearing you out, Heroe, and I understand your concern. Just because there is very little about the character or the role on the web does not mean it doesn't exist. The same thing happens when you Google "Richard Schiff Heroes" (both of which are the top automatic Google searches in my Google search bar.) And actually, she was listed on IMDb for about three weeks in the credits for Four Months Later..., and then was removed because, well, she wasn't actually in that episode....I'm not saying the character will definitely show up, but I'm saying we have no basis for deleting her. Removing a character who was announced in a reputable source simply because we can't find more information on her--especially in light of the mercurial situation of the show due to the writers strike--seems like a silly move to make. I'd much rather wait until 1) the writers strike is over, 2) we find out what's going on with Volume Three, 3) we receive word that she's not going to make an appearance. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:53, 22 December 2007 (EST)

- She has now been included here (spoilers, obviously), so I'm pretty sure the article has full merit to stay.
Theory
- Am I allowed to make a theory page about a spoiler like Sophie. Because I think she is the "bride" Adam was talking about. Jason Garrick 15:31, 1 January 2008 (EST)
- The theories about a spoiler would go on the spoiler page itself. In other words, we shouldn't make "Theory:Sophie" since spoilers don't belong in the theory namespace. What you should do instead is add a "Fan Theories" section at the bottom of Spoiler:Sophie. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:06, 1 January 2008 (EST)
- For what it's worth, when I read the article I had the same thoughts as you, Jason.--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:47, 1 January 2008 (EST)
