None	• This is all dependent on whether or not Maya has the power to release the Shanti virus. - It has not been shown that Alejandro's ability works on anything other than Maya's ability. + He is the only one who is able to reverse what Maya did in Lizards. + In Maya y Alejandro, the narration states that mutations almost always come about for the benefit of the species. In this case, Alejandro will counteract the virus. - Mohinder has already proven that he is able to cure victims of the virus with his blood. + Alejandro could still be able to cure it along with Mohinder + Mohinder cannot cure the virus any longer. Isaac's last name was Mendez. They may only share one parent. - Hispanic ancestry does not make them related. Otherwise, the same logic would make Hiro, Ando and Yaeko all be related to each other.
Alejandro and Maya's father is the hispanic gentleman in the Group of Twelve.	None	+ There is an hispanic gentleman pictured. They currently have no ties to any other characters (except Sylar). It is likely that there is a connection such as this to the larger ensemble. - The man's name is Carlos Mendez, so is more likely Isaac's father than the Herreras.
Alejandro understands enough English to have understood what Sylar said to him in The Line.	None	+ If Maya knows English, it's not so unlikely that her twin brother who goes everywhere understands at least some English. + Alejandro seemed far too attentive for someone who did not understand what was being said--he looked like he understood every word. - If he understood what Sylar said, then why hasn't he told Maya? Holding it in wouldn't help his situation. It is more likely that Alejandro's attention was caught by non-verbal cues of Sylar's (eye contact, menace in voice, fake smile, etc.), rather than his words, and it is on that basis that he does not trust him. + Alejandro spoke some English to Sylar (Truth & Consequences)

Such key words are enough without being able to actually read the language.

Alejandro has the ability to reverse death.	Alejandro manages to protect himself from Maya's ability as well as revive others.	• Perhaps Maya's ability is to cause instant death, and his is to reverse recent death. • If this is true, then it could be that Alejandro will "reverse" his own death, bringing himself back to life. - In Powerless Molly tries to find Alejandro with her ability but she can't find him. This implies that Alejandro is still death.
