pinehearstresearch.com is the real-life website for the fictional Pinehearst Company.

About

According to their site, Pinehearst Company is a biotech company, working on becoming one of the nation's leading biotechnology company through their products of superior quality and innovative methods. They hope to help build the future with their products in the fields of medicine, science and technology. Current projects include the Energy Initiatives to study climate change and energy consumption and the Biotech Training Program, focused on enhancing the nation's biotechnology industry.

Aspirants may submit their applications in the Careers page. By calling 877-309-7463, selecting option 3 and then pressing "1#", a person can take a brief survey to be placed in one of various teams for recruitment - Biodiversity Team, Research Team, Accounting Team and Field Agency, Engineering and Custodial. Then, a person is told to email his/her résumé to contact@pinehearstresearch.com with the name of the team, in which they are most suited to join, included as the subject of the message.

In a possible future, President Nathan Petrelli and First Lady Tracy Strauss address the nation in front of a Pinehearst building after the destruction of Costa Verde.

The Careers page asks participants to submit their emails and cell numbers.

On September 25, 2008, pinehearstresearch.com was updated. Hovering over the bottom right section on the Careers page reveals a DNA helix symbol. This link leads to a login page. Typing the number 19225688423 leads to a file directory. (The number 19225688423 was given out in a Pinehearst Research Company brochure at the 2008 Comic-Con in San Diego.) The directory contains several folders:

• According to the website's privacy policy, pinhearstresearch.com is a Heroes Evolutions site. The logo has a helix image, and a contact email allows users to to sign-up for more information. Other than Pinehearst Research being a biotech company, there is yet to be any other relation to the Heroes ARG.
• It is not strictly required to call Pinehearst in order to send the résumé -- one can simply send an e-mail with the desired area as the message subject regardless of the survey's result.
• Future Claire wears a pin with the logo of Pinehearst Research.

Trivia

• The "Company commercial" video located on the main page is narrated by Ali Larter. According to the commercial, the egg definitively came before the chicken.
