Everything You Had On You

There is no explicit contradiction between Ricky's statment that the box contains, "everything you had on you when we found you" and that the box was not shown during their first meeting in (Four Months Later...). Ricky did not say that they found the box on or with Peter. Ricky or one of his crew could have put what they found in Peter's pockets in a box.

Why it looks kind of fancy, I do not know. I'd have pulled out an old shoe box to store the stuff off a guy who beat me to a grab job. -- FissionChips 12:21, 5 October 2007 (EDT)

• Right, the box didn't have to be there at their first meeting. What I saw that seemed contradictory, is that in their supposed first meeting, they come across Peter, and he blasts them away with the electricty bolt. In their first meeting, he didn't go unconscious for them to search his pants or belongings. If they had found him prior to that meeting, there is a contradiction. Nothing in the first episode shows or even eludes to the idea that Peter emptied his pockets and willfully gave his stuff to them after lightning bolting them. So there seems to be some level of contradicition to how/when they met, and how/when they got control over Peter's posessions. Personally I believe the box is empty and just a ruse, and Ricky knows of Peter's name by some other choice. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 10/5/2007 12:26 (EST)
  • Peter was unconscious when he was tied into the chair, so between the container scene and the beginning of Lizards, Peter was rendered unconscious. He was held at gunpoint by Ricky, so I don't think it'd be a stretch to suggest that Ricky or Will knocked him out sometime inbetween in order to tie him up into a chair.   • I agree that there's a lot we don't know for certain about Peter's stuff: is there really stuff, what is it, where was it on him and when was it taken from him. I don't know that it is contradictory as much as this is information we haven't been given yet.     • Right, the possible contradictions are theorizing (and good theorizing at that). But in this case, the article should simply state what was said and shown in the episode, not attempt to explain where things might have come from. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:41, 5 October 2007 (EDT)
      • I don't understand why this is hard to put together. They might have knocked him out at some point, emptied his pockets and put all the stuff in the box. Why is that so difficult to understand? --Citizen 7:39, 7 October 2007
        • It's not that it's hard to put together, but that act itself crosses over into speculation. They 'might have' done alot of things we don't know about. All we can conclusively report to this point, is what 'they actually have done'.   • I'm the culprit behind the term "nonplussed" being used. I do not think it means what you think it means. Caitlin was puzzled and surprised when Peter took down McSorley's son and his friend. How did the items get in the box?

• In Four Months Ago..., Peter took the photo from Nathan's bedside, and Adam gave him the plane ticket and passport... but how did they get into the box? And, also, where did Adam get the passport from, and, finally, how did he get the plane ticket, if he's been locked up for thirty years?     • Was the Haitian in on it? Ooh, I absolutely missed that. So you're saying the box was already in the cargo thing, and the Haitian had already chosen that container?       • The Haitian didn't want to see Peter locked up since he was a friend of Noah's, and the whole time was pretending to be a Company agent. The Haitian already had probably already planned to erase Peter's memory, and only he had the access and freedom to get Adam/Peter a current plane ticket to Montreal. The Haitian probably didn't know it would be that shipping container, but he had brought with him Peter's stuff in "the box" and left it in the shipping container so Peter would eventually piece together his life again. The time it would take for Peter to piece things together would hopefully be enough time for the Haitian to do whatever he was planning. Unfortunately, the Company caught on that he was involved in helping Peter escape, and that's why the Haitian was infected with the virus and sent to Haiti as punishment. Erasing Peter's memory would probably also help with problem #2: if Peter couldn't remember Ted anymore, then he probably couldn't use Ted's power.--MiamiVolts (talk) 13:47, 14 November 2007 (EST)
