Power: Teleportation?

According to the Taylor Cole interview here: http://www.heroestelevision.com/heroes-webisodes-the-recruit-spoilers-volume-3-finale/ , Rachel Mills has some sort of teleporting power, and also a powered mother. --Dumpster juice 10:36, 6 December 2008 (EST)

  • I just added all that as a start since they all appear in tomorrow nights episode. But I think we shouldn't add anything like that in till it is shown on the show or in the webisodes. --User:Xnikix
    • If The Recruit's webisodes end without any more info about her mother, then I think we can add that info as a note, but until then I think we should consider that a spoiler.--MiamiVolts (talk) 16:24, 16 December 2008 (EST)
      • Now that I think about it, she was never injected, was she? --Ricard Desi 02:02, 17 December 2008 (EST)

Plot Hole

If the info that was just added from NBC is accurate, then he have a major plot hole in our hands, they show is supposed to be in 2007, but according to her character profile, the whole Pinehearst program happens in 2008. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 19:43, 16 December 2008 (EST)

  • Well, Evolutions content is secondary to episode content in terms of canonicity, so I think it's safe to assume that's an error that got overlooked. I'd ask BTE about it, but the writers confirmed to me a couple months back when I asked about giving dates that they don't really want to give any.--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:50, 16 December 2008 (EST)
    • Yeah, they defintely just got confused between now now and Heroes now. It's not the first time it's happened; remember that graphic novel where Matt met Elle in 2008?--BardinessBoy 19:52, 16 December 2008 (EST)
      • Oh yeah, forgot about that. They really should have someone hired to take a look at these continuity issues. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 19:54, 16 December 2008 (EST)
        • You guys seem to be the ones noticing, why don't they hire you? :P Revengeance 03:43, 17 December 2008 (EST)
          • I would do it, but it would have to be via Internet and video conference, I don't live in the USA. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 09:21, 17 December 2008 (EST)
            • Read Help:Sources--NBC is not a canon or near-canon source. If it's part of the Evolutions content, then that's one thing. But a character profile, as far as I understand, is not part of the Evolutions content. NBC has terrific information, but if we took everything that NBC prints at face value, then the Haitian and D.L. would be played by the same guy, Niki would be married to a shapeshifter, and Five Years Gone would still be called String Theory. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 09:56, 17 December 2008 (EST)
              • Evolutions is Heroes online experience, so I think that we should continue to include the NBC character references under "Heroes Evolutions" headers as we've been doing for the past three webisodes, but Ryan is right that it's an official source and not an in-character source so we shouldn't take it at face value.--MiamiVolts (talk) 01:01, 18 December 2008 (EST)

powered mother

i know these may be a speculation but i think rachel's mother is leonie pinkham ( first name similar to leona and they are both deceased) but for now we can put these under theories right? --Zoga78 00:34, 18 December 2008 (EST)

  • Yeah, that's speculation and can be put under theories.--MiamiVolts (talk) 01:01, 18 December 2008 (EST)
    • Not anymore. Angela claims to have been friends with her mother, Leona, when they were little, and that Leona had a power. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 19:43, 5 January 2009 (EST)
      • It's still speculation that her mother is Leonie Pinkham, which was the original point Super-Hiro

very attractive

no really, the picture you guys chose for Rachel's profile, is quite beautiful. Her predatory look with that bloody nose... Really... really attractive...

Related to Sylar.

Let me just start off by saying I don't belive this but it's some interesting stuff I've noticed. Angela tells Sylar that she knows who his parents are, she also tells Rachel that she knew her mother. Sylar desparatley wants to be special, Rachel wants to be normal. Also we know that Sylar's father will be appearing but have heard nothing of Sylar's mother and Angela says she KNEW Rachel's mother implying she is dead. Think about it, the whole "two sides of the same coin" thing could apply, Rachel could be Sylar's long lost sister. D Toccs 01:51, 8 January 2009 (EST)

  • Okay.--Citizen 10:08, 8 January 2009 (EST)
  • Y'know, that's actually a really good theory. Makes sense too. I for one would actually be willing to believe it... Sincerely, Thrashmeister [ U | T |

  • Sounds like a great idea, that would be too good to be true!--Fr0z3nB0nes 19:54, 10 January 2009 (EST)

Who knows? Maybe they are related that would be a good plot twist, so anxious for the series to return. Citizen why that quote? --Manwithnoname 17:06, 14 January 2009 (EST)

What's gonna happen...

...when Danko finds out that she's a special? --SacValleyDweller (talk) 17:55, 13 February 2009 (EST)

  • Isn't the better question: What's going to happen when Danko finds out that Nathan is a special?--MiamiVolts (talk) 18:00, 13 February 2009 (EST)

Is it just me...

or does anyone else find her name spelled a little strange? I had a great-grandma and have a distant cousin with the same name, spelled/spells it Rachael, I learned this as the name's default spelling. The name spelled Rachel is a bit strange. --SacValleyDweller (talk) 02:44, 19 February 2009 (EST)

  • It varies, I guess. Rachael is probably the more common now, a la "Rachael Ray", though there are some actresses such as "Rachel Nichols" that have it spelled the other way.--MiamiVolts (talk) 04:37, 19 February 2009 (EST)
    • I've never seen it spelled as "Rachael", and it's odd that there'd be an extra a that makes no sound at all. It also makes me think it's pronounced like Michael with a hard ch. It also looks awkward, while I think Rachel looks much nicr. --Radicell 05:39, 19 February 2009 (EST)
      • I've seen both variations, but Rachel is definitely the most common one, at least for me. -Sincerely, Thrashmeister » talk- 07:33, 19 February 2009 (EST)

Isn't she an evolved human?

  • I thought Danko doesn't want evolved humans to join their team.--NiveKJ13 (talk2me) 18:26, 3 March 2009 (EST)
    • he just doesn't know she seems to be trying really hard for nobody to notice.Meesa yoda 18:29, 3 March 2009 (EST)
    • Right, Danko doesn't know. In the story, there is currently no test for who is or isn't an evolved human like there is in Five Years Gone.--MiamiVolts (talk) 18:30, 3 March 2009 (EST)
